Would recommend you upgrade to 60kWH because I was in the same boat but having the ability to use the super charger just incase - is worth it!

@ahimberg: The reason Tesla has created a native app (instead of browser/web app) is for the efficiency and raw access that can be gained for performance. Ideally what is included in the native app could have easily be done through a web app, but my assumption is Tesla will add more features...

Feedback from a beta user (not me) of the Tesla App is that Tesla may want to release both the iPhone and Android apps together. The iPhone app is already approved by Apple. They have released many updates for the Android recently to get it up to par and working so they can launch both.

@brianman: Thanks for the feedback. I have added backwards compatibility for placeholder (HTML5) tag for IE9 and less so the field labels render in the field. Could you confirm?

@EchoDelta: this hasn't happened yet and it won't go into github (sorry). At the moment the Tesla's browser has the geolocate option disabled. I am hoping that it will be something that can quickly enable or exposed via their API/SDK (which I know is a long ways away).
