Yep, I was made aware of this after I posted this elsewhere :) I made this post almost two weeks ago, it just took a while to get greenlit.

I'm such a schmuck. I did it for reservations, but not cancellations. So - 15 cancellations total, that extrapolates to about 320. Obviously, with a sample set that small, the margin of error is significant.

1025 people registered their reservations on modelxtracker, and there are about 22000 reservations out there. With 6 entries in the list here, I'd extrapolate the actual number of cancellations to something like 120.

Not to be cynical, but "inviting to configure" and "shipping" are two different things :) They could increase the number of configuration invitations to better gauge what options have been requested, and batch the production more efficiently - particularly important due to the presumed shortage...

The highest number on modelxtracker.com is 21282, reserved on Sep 30 2015. I guess new reservations will be in this ballpark.
