    Supercharger - Bennington, VT

I’ve been here a few times now and can’t seem to go over 120kW. I’ve only used the first four stalls. It’s great having this, but it’s super slow for a 250kW. Yes, battery was optimized and heated for a half hour before arriving.

Here right now and 4 stalls are open, but definitely running at 150kw.

    USB Music frustration

If you use the voice command “Play songs on USB” exactly like that, it is very reliable in picking up where you left off.

    Supercharger - Hancock, NY

Did anyone find any place for a bathroom or to eat at the Hancock site? There is a convenience store about 100 yards away that has one, but nothing closer that I saw.

    Supercharger - Roscoe, NY

I had the same problem in February. The Roscoe site just isn’t in the map at all, but when you drive by, there are Teslas charging, so it’s active. I wonder if they are intentionally diverting people to the 250kw Hancock supercharger nearby. I’d much rather have a slower 150kw charge and go into...

Calling on Audiophiles: Lossless, High-Res and Dolby Atmos

Reviving this thread with the impending implementation of ATMOS. Hoping very much that it includes multichannel FLAC support.

    USB Music - cover art

You might enjoy your music more if you use the FLACs instead and invest in a bigger drive. I use a 2TB SSD with hi-res FLACs (44.1/16, 88.2/24, 176.4/24 and 192/24). I've found the Tesla chokes on m4a files mixed in, so I do a search and delete for those.

Worn out rear tires at 13000 miles?

Call them before you give up. They covered mine at 19,000 at 50%.

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

Thanks for this! I’m happy to sacrifice a slight driving feel for extended treadwear life. $1,200 a pop for new tires every 19,000 miles is more than I bargained for when getting the car. If I can extend that to 40,000+, the cost overall for the life of the car becomes more palatable. I’m also...

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

Michelin honored a 50% treadwear coverage in the end, so they did the right thing. It took some negotiating, though.

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

Tires are all 42 cold and go up to 46/47. They run great so far.

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

Finding the right balance of performance and treadwear is really tough. You also need to take load and speed rating into account. My tire guy said the Premiers would be fine for my car. I am not driving 145 mph at full load, ever, so the Premiers work for me. I don’t notice a real difference...

I’ll check later, but the psi was where the tire place set them. I assume stock psi, but will check.

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

So, I got the Michelin Premier A/S 235/45/18 94V rated tires and I have to say they sound a little quieter and feel pretty much the same as the Primacys. I find hitting bumps is not as jarring. They may be a little louder on rougher roads, but not so much that I notice (and I am pretty anal...

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

Hopefully the Premiers will perform and ride as well. Otherwise, I'm married to a set of tires for at least 50,000 miles that will irk me every time I get into the car.

Model 3 OEM Tires Bald at 19,000

So, I have been going to Tesla to service my car regularly (fixing a rattle in back that still persists, replacing a corrupt MicroSD card, fixing a loose dashboard, alignment) and they just told me on my last visit that my tires were down to 3/32. The PSAs here are that a) Michelin treadwear...

    Supercharger - Yorktown Heights, NY

So, I tried pulling in two weeks ago and plugged in my car just to see what happened. First, it didn't blow up - so, that was good. Second, I noticed it was not supercharging. Third, the most important part, I was able to hit the button to disconnect it from my charging port, so there is some...

    Supercharger - Yorktown Heights, NY

There are no cones blocking the chargers or any signage saying not to use it, so I tried to plug in and no charging yet - ALTHOUGH when I hit the button to release, it worked, so there is some power flowing there.

    Supercharger - Yorktown Heights, NY

Maybe it is taking so long because apparently it is also solar powered. Tesla charging station, Popeyes and CVS could come to Yorktown's Crompond Road

    Supercharger - Yorktown Heights, NY

It seems like no one is working on it and it looks finished. I wonder what is taking so long to flip the switch.
