There were big discounts near end of May where they released 2018 P3D with 8-9k discount. Since this will be the most expensive car I’m buying in my life, would like to save a bit of money if I can

Pretty sure they would want you to pay the remaining of the amount you owe to return the car. Or maybe get you to another lease if possible. There’s no way they will let you walk away. Great deal though! I had been hunting a deal like that myself

If I were you, if you don't really "need" a car as of now. Just save more money, 2-3 years down the line there will be used Model 3 and you can put more money down for down payment and that will be easier to buy

What happened to the production of the Performance model 3? Are they just not making them? I thought the production was already up to standard now. Why promise a 2 week delivery when you clearly can't?

If I were you I would make sure it really only has 6 miles on it first before anything else. As far as I know they got rid of their inventory near end of Q1 (at least all performance models) so most of the price adjusted vehicles are hard to find now. I would have the rep double check the mile...
