yes unsecured. initially 3.99% then rate beat to 2.64% weird 800 should be more than good enough. maybe they changed policy? I did it in early May for me the main reason is they do unsecured loan (your name on the title, not the bank). Also they do rate beat so their rate will be your approved...

spend the $25 and actually open an accounting and go through loan application process you need to get formally approved by pfcu (not pre approval letter) in order to get rate beat from lightstream here is the tricky part...in order to get final loan application from pfcu...you also need MVPA...

Interesting... I didn't know that... when I applied for mortgage a few years ago, different banks definitely showed up as separate inquiries within 6o days period. Credit report will be refreshed next week and I will take a look

If you don't mind 2 hard inquiries, I'd recommend get approved (not pre-approval) by a cu like Pasadena, then use lightstream rate beat to get 2.64% UNSECURED loan (your name on the title, not bank). The hard part is timing.

Pasadena FCU 2.74% 60M...got lightstream rate beat at 2.64% unsecured...the only downside is 2 (instead of 1) hard pulls in credit report, resulting 20~30 points decrease

PFCU 2.74% for 60M (with checking and visa). Now trying lightsream rate beat. Looks like they don't like pre approval letter (not email, a PDF with logo and everything)
