Old SR according to three different Tesla sales members from three different stores yesterday is off the table.

Called sales guys at local Tesla stores yesterday all confirmed $47,600 3SR is not being sold anymore. It’s just $44,999 3SR- and $53,700 3SR+ offered. Don’t know how legacy orders are being handled.

If you read Tesla website it states only 2 models are eligible for rebate.

It’s not $2.6k more, it’s $6.1k more from the old $47.6 SR to the new $53.7K SR plus. But you do get $4k of autopilot in there. So your paying $2.1k extra for features that would be in the car anyways excluding autopilot. That would be best scenario is to get $5k off the old $47.6K SR. But...

I wonder if the deliveries that happened today and happening this week for the $47,600 standard range (220 miles) are eligible for federal rebate? If so that would be a sweet deal for those that may have scored it today.

I understand the frustration Tesla waits until the last minute to do this. I took delivery 2 days ago on a SR+ and looking at my options of returning it.

Great news expect I took delivery of SR+ 2 days ago. Tesla should have been on the list when the announcement first came out.
