That's another good point. More and more in agreeing with you. I think an AB is the way I'll go.

Thanks Drew. Yeah I keep going back and forth on this. I'm considering the performance and then changing the tires out for 18inch ones but at the end of the day you maybe right, is it worth the headache of doing all that. Anyone that tried both cars care to comment?

I did. Maybe i misunderstood how it works. Is it ONLY for autopilot? does it warn you if you're driving with no autopilot engaged? i thought it would just warn you if you drove over the line.

Thanks All. So much to take in, almost overwhelming. So if i get an AWD, non-performance, should i aim for the 18inch tires or 19inch? Range is more important for me than most things. Ergo why again performance lost out, among the other reasons.

Will the quote on the tesla ordering page take care of that part of things as well? I'd say it isn't too far actually. The breaker box is behind the garage.

Well the RWD is no longer an option from what i see correct? the one they offer is lower range.

Very good point about saving the money. This car will be both for myself and my wife, eventually i'll get one for myself fully, but for now... i think that 3.2 seconds can wait.

Thanks for the info. If i do get a performance, then i'd immediately get 18 inch wheels and tires, all weather. It's only the speed i want but umm... hard to justify. Besides my wife has to also drive it and frankly i worry about her driving a car that does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.

Definitely getting a long range car, and AWD... i won't do without one. 18 inch wheels for me as well.
