Buy a pocket router. There is a dope one for like $100 that handles the portals and such and then pushes the NAT connections without having to need it. Lots of youtube vids on these for hotel goers to share their connection with devices that don't like captive portals like apple TV's et. Al.

I went from a Y Perf to X Plaid and I feel the Y was a better car. Better priced, less bloat and to me it feels like it had more "usable" space. But I also don't use the rear-most 2 seats. Doors are a gimmick and the novelty wears off quick. Save the $ IMHO.

And both act differently. The left door you have to wait a few seconds to be able to pull on it - otherwise it feels like it's going to break. The right door, the slightest pull (after waiting the delay) causes it to swing open violently all the way without stopping which if you don't stop it...

Can you check to see if you're in "jack mode"? Mine likes to go into that mode on it's own sometimes.

Tested yesterday evening. On freeway doing 68 miles an hour, I could only select "low" and "very low" suspension settings. I could not select anything higher. If I slow down below 35mph I can, but afterwards it goes back down to low. 2023 MXP running HW4 / 23.32.4

Agreed it is a bit lame how they've taken over the controls. I was excited to move into a Model X with air suspension but in reality it kinda sucks.

Personally for me, using lowering links on our Plaid Model X with 22" wheels has a significant reduction in ride quality adding some harsh bouncy-ness when on low / very low setting. The only way to make it smooth again is on medium height setting but the car won't say there at high speeds.

A strange feeling to downgrade for twice the cost. We just moved from a 2020 MY with FSD that got beta and we used it for a while and now have a 2023 MX with HW4 and yeah, missing features and ultrasonic sensors so auto park and the aut doors are funky. I see plenty of upset people on the forum...

Please consider a bundle for the buttons and new commander and some sort of pre-release pricing / ETA. I have no use for the old commander if it does not allow adjustment of air suspension so don't want to buy it first.
