Revere Beach, MA to Lorton, VA

This is my report of my drive from Revere to Miami Beach: I left Friday in the afternoon. I wanted to avoid NYC, so I crossed the Tappanzee Bridge. I would have charged in Connecticut on the 15, but it was filled with Teslas charging, so I moved on to Nyack, NY. There was no one there. Took...

Revere Beach, MA to Lorton, VA

Appreciate your concern. I will not leave until the storm has passed South Carolina and i know that the roads are passable and that the chargers have electricity to charge the car. Otherwise, the route I will be using is well west of the impact of the storm

Revere Beach, MA to Lorton, VA

Well, the hurricane has changed my plans. My goal was to be home by Sunday Sept 8th. The Autotrain is canceled for Sept 5. I believe it is also going to be cancelled for Friday, Sept 6 and it is full on Saturday, Sept 7. Even if i take the Autotrain, if electricity is out, I will be unable...

Revere Beach, MA to Lorton, VA

Thanks for all of your help. I hate to drive through NYC, so I always take the Tappanzee Bridge and then the Garden State Parkway to the NJ TPK.. As to Autotrain, I took it on the way up. I put the car in Valet mode and gave them the card. No problem! They told me they deal with Teslas all...

    Supercharger - Seabrook, NH

Stopped by here last night, after a trip to Portland. 3A is not working and 3B charges at no more than 30k, I had to move to 1A

    Supercharger - Lynnfield, MA

I was there at about 12:30 this afternoon. All of the charging stations are in place. The asphalt looks new. No paint stripes on the asphalt for spacing and the fence is still up. Looks like almost there. Does it need a final inspection or can they just take the fence done and turn it on?

    Summer in Revere

My wife's Mercedes is a 2018 CLK 350. It has always been a great road car, but it is getting "long in the tooth", so we took my new T3. I couldn't to believe how much better the T3 ran than the Mercedes, in every respect It not only handled much better, but it ran more smoothly and tracked...

    Where are all the Teslas

Went to Lynnfield Marketplace yesterday. Checked out the new charging site to be and parked at Whole Foods. (Thank you CarlSagan, whoever you are). Still no Teslas, but today I saw 2 Tesla 3s on Revere Beach. Except for summers, I travel back and forth between Miami Beach and Pinecrest. I...

    Where are all the Teslas

i have been on Revere Beach for almost 3 weeks. I have traveled in my 3 all over the North Shore: Swamscott, Marblehead, Salem, Andover, Beverly, Manchester, Gloucester, etc. In all of my travels, I have only seen one 3, one S and one X. Is everybody hiding?

    Summer in Revere

Thisis my travel report from Lorton, VA to Revere Beach, MA. We left at about 10:30 am.with a full charge. Our first stop was a destination charger at Port House Restaurant in Northeast Maryland. Great food, but a relatively slow charger, about 40 miles per hour. Next stop was a Tesla...

    Summer in Revere

Time to travel. When I wrote the post originally I was only getting one mile of charge an hour on 110. Talked to Tesla and they said to manually force he voltage higher. Now I a getting 5 miles. It is still not a lot, but it is enough. If I need to stop at a supercharger, I know I can go to...

    Summer in Revere

I agree that 120 is sufficient. In fact, that is what I use in Florida. However, the parking in my Revere condo is outside and has no outdoor receptacles

    Summer in Revere

As a matter of semantics, a true snowbird spends 9 months in the north, but the winter in Florida. I spend my 9 months, including the winter, in Miami, and spend my summers in Boston. That is why I call myself a reverse snowbird. My issue is that there seem to be no Tesla chargers in Boston’s...

    Summer in Revere

I am a reverse snowbird, in that I live on Miami Beach, but spend my summers on Revere Beach. I just bought a Model 3 LR. I want to bring my Model 3 up there, but have not found a local place to charge. There is availability at my condo in Revere. Any help will be appreciated
