I'm not exactly sure what metal on metal means but that's the door handle on the falcon wind that pops up 2.5mm. If you push it down gently, it will go in and when pushing it a little harder, the FWD opens.

Looks like you're the only one got the discount from custom orders. Someone on here got the same thing but then later got retracted the discount by Tesla. Only inventory cars on three days promo (Fri-Sun) get the discount from what I read here.

Correct, I switched from a custom order to an inventory car but the car only has 13 miles, which I assumed it's a brand new car and not ones with 500+ miles showroom or demo cars. My complain is they had a week to perform QC, why rush me at the beginning and not ready on their end.

If it's not a demo car and has less than 20 miles that you can live with the color combo, then I say take the inventory. Cheaper and you get your car in about a week.

Why don't you try to find an inventory new like I did? You will need some luck to find the exact match within 500 miles for free delivery. I found one 360 miles away and picking up this Friday (Thursday if I want). That's only 6 days from the day I found the car.

I think most of our VINs start with 5YXJxxxx. It's the last 6 digits that's unique. Your should be 200xxx or 201xxx. Checked with my Sales and he said 9/28 for my order but no VIN yet. That would be exactly 4 weeks if it's accurate. I'm in So Cal.
