Just got my VIN today! Original order / completion date: 08/22 VIN: 371xxx California, White / Blk, 19”, tow, No FSD. Current delivery window: 02/01 - 02/04.

Previously: 01/22 - 02/15, 01/25 - 02/09 Current: 01/28 - 02/07 California, White/Blk, 19”, tow, no FSD. Ordered & completed 08/22. Slowly getting there! This is the narrowest EDD I’ve had so far.

EDD moved again. Previously: 01/22 - 02/15 Current: 01/25 - 02/09 Second time entering a 2 week window.

Bummer. Pushed back again. 01/22 - 02/15 now (from 01/19-02/15). And the wait continues.

Congrats to people who got VINs! Sadly. I was in the 01/16-01-/30 window but got pushed back to 01/19 - 02/15 this morning. Bay Area, base White MYLR with Tow. OD 08/22, profile completed same day.

Picked up my car at Raleigh today. They let me spend as much time in the beginning checking over the car, but honestly, i did a quick walk around, opened everything and look at the paint but I didn’t look under the car or measure gaps. Basically, I didn't go in actively looking for every minor...

It’s been in Washington since I received my VIN on 5/26. And is in transit now.

UPDATE: Raleigh, NC. Delivery pushed back again to 06/20. Car is apparently still in transit. Have had a VIN and vehicle match since 05/25 (Canadian inventory that was probably sent back to the US). If my experience has proven anything...even if the cars are being built and they get loaded up...

Called my adviser to see if they’d give me a discount on AWD LR, she immediately told me that they don’t discount / upgrade people to AWD. So, sadly was shot down.

Yeah, I’m not holding my breath, i doubt it’ll be here by then. I had a LR RWD Black / Black / Aero (as basic as you can get).

Update: called my local store today and they pinged my car and it is now located outside of the Fremont factory (moved there from Washington). They moved up my anticipated delivery date to 06/17 from 06/19.

I’m in the same boat as you. Got matched with a Canadian market car. Apparently my car is headed out to N.C., so your delivery timeline should be correct. Keep us updated!

Our cars are probably on the same truck (I’m picking up in Raleigh)! I was told tentative 06/19, so hopefully yours will arrive earlier also. I can’t imagine it would take 10+ days to drive from Washington out here.

I would try to get that in writing and have them update your purchase agreement / order right now. Imagine getting to the store on delivery date and them feigning ignorance. From my experience so far with the sales team / Tesla in general, I would get EVERYTHING in writing and get as much stuff...

I agree. There are two AWD LR sitting nearby that I would take if they’d discount 2-3k off them. Maybe I should ask.

I wonder if they’re “upgrading” people to 19” wheels and if / when deliveries occur after June, this will be their way of making up for the federal tax credit difference. Sorry you missed the credit, but here are some upgraded wheels? Just a thought.

Just heard back from a delivery specialist in Fremont, looks like my car is in route to North Carolina and won't meet the 15th delivery date since they'll need to inspect / detail the vehicle before delivery. I was told by my delivery specialist at my store (Raleigh) that the 19th is more realistic.

Yep. I came in with pretty low expectations but they’ve really done a horrible job. Hang in there...you’re not alone in dealing with their apathy and incompetence. Hopefully in a week or so we will both have our cars.

I’ve spoken to various delivery specialists at my store. It doesn’t seem like I have had one consistent point of contact. I’m going to actually call them today when they open to see if they can see if my car has left the west coast.

I would reach out. If my experience has taught me anything, you have to follow up with them and stay on top of your order. All of the information I’ve received I’ve had to ask and call to get (except the VIN, they texted me that) My initial order wasn’t updated to RWD until I called and asked...

I had my VIN texted to me by someone at Tesla and then it showed up on my Tesla account later that day.

VIN is 324130 Pretty sure I was matched with an inventory vehicle originally destined for Canada. The car was in Washington State on 6/7 and is now in transit (hopefully to me).

I ordered 5/18 and have a delivery date for 6/19 (it’s been rescheduled twice). I got a VIN assignment on 5/25. Just to give you an idea of where I am.
