Blog Report: Tesla Employees Pressured to Take Shortcuts to Meet Production Goals

I picked mine up on May 15th, 2019. Everything works as expected. Car has an overall quality feel. I am known as a tough critic. - Retired Engineer. - Maintain, improve, and repair my own cars - too many issues with shops. - Some would say an expert in Electronics. - Largest fault, on my T, is...

Dangerous To Accelerate P3d With Old Man In My Car?

EXCELLENT THOUGHT but SCRATCH THE FIRE I have said that a man should be allowed to drive at a rate(in MPH) equal to twice his age(in years) at least once each year. The M3P does limit that a bit - glad the V is still available. An even more interesting, and controversial, thought is that all...

Model 3 Performance OEM tires for sale

    - With less than 2K miles, I do like them. - I don't notice a noise increase - not very scientific! I may have adapted. - Less costly than A/S 3+. I have those on my V Coupe. - Rated well by a couple of sources. - Foam affecting balance is unlikely - the density, mass, and inertia of the...

Dangerous To Accelerate P3d With Old Man In My Car?

My kids have been made aware that I cannot imagine a more attractive way to deal with advancing age than a FASTER CAR EVERY COUPLE OF YEARS.

Dangerous To Accelerate P3d With Old Man In My Car?

I was just past my 78th birthday when I picked up my M3P. Impressive acceleration below 60 compared to my other ride, a breathed on 2011 CTS-V Coupe. It has about 27% more RWT with the enhancements - still drives great, better than stock. The V can't compete with the T, for lack of traction...

Real world range of Performance model?

I have driven my 3P 1356 miles since picking it up about a month ago. The data I kept is intended to provide for me to reasonably predict the range for the kind of driving that I normally do. That driving is reasonably conservative with a spurt here and there and I do not try to conserve...

Model 3 Performance OEM tires for sale

One more thought. My T is less than a month old. It came with foam belts. Therefore, I expect that to be the current type. I did drop my asking price to $1,049 on EBay with free shipping. Same here - offers considered. $1,383.96 per set on TireRack.

Model 3 Performance OEM tires for sale

Sorry for the slow response. I expect that you would have to deflate a tire and break the bead to have a look. There would be a slight weight difference, but that may not be enough to discriminate between foam and no-foam. I expect the foam doesn't weigh much.

Model 3 Performance OEM tires for sale

I chose 245/35 R20 Goodyear Eagle All Season 95W tires. They were well rated by Tire Rack at a good price. Although 10 mm wider, the effective diameter is not much different. I was unable to get precise specs for them at the Tesla weight and pressure. The car feels good and seems reasonably...
