Muskegon Area, looking for a charge cable. Forgot mine at home.

There is a supercharger in St. Joseph? When did that open? I guess I missed that announcement. I am charging at a Chargepoint now.. specifically the one on Henry street. But it will take a while. Thanks for the tip.

Muskegon Area, looking for a charge cable. Forgot mine at home.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We are on our way to the in-laws, and happen to have forgotten our charging cable at home. Is there anyone with one that I can borrow overnight? We are planning on heading back to Chicago tomorrow. Personal email is [email protected], and cell number is 312.560.3763...

    Chicago Condo Charging

There is no general infrastructure per se, but I had a 14-50 outlet run to my parking spot, hooked up to the general building circuit. I have a power meter where I manually read the power consumed on an irregular basis, and then calculate what I think I owe based on past building electric rates...

Service Center no longer giving loaner cars outside of 50-mile radius?

The downtown Chicago location on Grand is where I am bringing mine in for annual maintenance tomorrow, and I have been going there on a regular basis. Not sure anything has moved. -tj

    IPass install under nose cone

I should give that a try. I have mine in the window spot, and it seems to work flawlessly when passing through the open toll lanes, but I have trouble getting it read on the Skyway and in Indiana.

    Should I buy Tire Insurance?

Well, it looks like it should. Excerpted from the agreement when you sign up for 4-year service plan: The regularly scheduled maintenance inspections shall include the following (subject to change by Tesla at any time and without notice, in its sole discretion): • Vehicle inspection; •...

    Wisconsin Dells

To follow up on this thread, I ended up finding a RV park that was open year round, and had 50 amps available. This was the Castle Rock County Park in Friendship, Adams County (https://maps.google.com/maps?q=43.908189,-89.93891&num=1&t=h&z=17). Lorelai was especially helpful in finding a usable...

    Wisconsin Dells

I am currently at the dells, staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. When I called them up a while back, it seemed that they had a RV 50 amp connection for me to use by the maintenance shed. Unfortunately, I did not follow up and get a clarification. All they have is the standard 15 amp outlet. Because...

    Panoramic roof creaking noise.

I have hear it off and on. No specific conditions.. sometimes it is cold, sometimes it is not. Venting the roof definitely stops the sound, so it is something in that assembly. Venting and closing does not always stop the sound. I had a case where I heard the sound constantly. I then parked...

    Charging around Ames, IA.

We are planning on a road trip the last week of March, and will be coming south from Minneapolis through Ames. I checked the various EV charger sites and there are no public chargers around there. The hotels (Holiday Inn, etc.) have the standard 5-15 outlets outside that could be used. I am...

    Delivery/Installation: Rear Facing Child Seats

There is only one setting for all the doors. But, this is all controlled from the front screen, so what I usually do is to leave the child locks on, and then when I get to a stop to drop the older child off, I change the setting to off, and they can open the door and get out. Then I toggle the...

Anyone receive a car with textile interior yet?

How did you get heated textile seats? As far as I know heated seats are not an option, just leather or textile, and the leather comes with heated seats. I have the textile and they are not heated.. or at least I do not have the icons on the screen.

Measuring the Total Energy Consumption of Your EV

I don't have as much detailed information. My meter is only reporting total kWh consumed by the circuit. I regularly do a 78 mi roundtrip which, according to the car reading, consistently use about 29kWh. Reading the meter on my circuit, that is showing 38kWh. This is on a daily basis. Does...

    Model S Software/Firmware Updates

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but with the latest firmware update, the charge port stays lit while charging with the car locked. Before, all the lights would be off when I locked the car, even though the car was charging.

Model S Technical / Mechanical Issues

The same thing happened to me this morning. I was having the electricians install my outlet, and I had opened the hatch to check on something. After I close and left the area, the electricians reported the hatch opening within 10 minutes after I had left.
