Tesla App unable to Navigate to address

I'm having the same problem. Looks like it's a software problem in the app. I can't do it either and I'm sure I've done it before from the app. I'm not sure bringing the car in will fix the issue, but if it does please let us know. You probably already know this, but if all you need is to set...

Australia - Pedestrian Warning System Retrofit.

Based on the description, the software activation by Tesla Service should enable Boombox (only available in Park). You can order it now from your Tesla app. See the instruction here: https://shop.tesla.com/en_au/product/model-3_y-pedestrian-warning-speaker

    Tesla Showroom in Parramatta

Totally agree we need service centre in the west / southwest. The Tesla population here is getting bigger. Last week I visited an open house inspection and two other Model 3 owners were looking at the same house.

    Model-Y Comprehensive Insurance Recommendation

I was with CommInsure for my other cars and was generally happy with them. When I got my Model 3, CommInsure's quote was significantly higher than NRMA's for similar cover and excess. NRMA's price was even lower than my 9-year old Merc with CommInsure. I thought I would just move the Merc to...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Does anyone know whether we can upgrade to FSD from EAP and how much? If one has bought the new EAP, perhaps they can check what is the price to upgrade to FSD.

    Tesla Model Y-LR in Australia

With the price increase, you probably better off staying with the P even if the LR order is open in the near future.

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

The right stalk gear shift is the same as some Mercedes models. Old Tesla Model S has Mercedes-style cruise control using a small stalk below the turn signal stalk on the left side. Mercedes and Tesla did share some technologies back in the day (e.g., the stalks from Mercedes, electric B-Class...

Security Tips for Tesla Model 3 if travelling for few weeks and leaving the car parked in Home car garage

At the moment I've been away from my 1-month old Model 3 RWD (LFP batteries) for 3 weeks. I left it unplugged but I can ask my wife to plug it if needed. I think I left it at 97% charge. I check the app at least once a day and found that the battery maybe going down 1% in a week. If I turn on...

Tesla Hits Pedestrian ‘On Autopilot’ Melbourne Australia.

I wonder if the police knew about the dashcam and the USB drive that potentially recorded everything that happened.

    Model 3 - P Plate Prohibited Vehicle

I think eventually what should be done is for Tesla (and other EVs) to have an L/P mode that must be selected when the driver has an L/P license. Otherwise, if they get caught or worse, get into an accident, they're breaking the law. Of course the scheme has to be worked out with the authority...

    Australian Model 3 Waiting Room

I paid partially over several days. Each payment is updated the next day and is shown separately. The remaining balance is also updated. I guess you have put the RN number in the description. If not, then that's the problem. From speaking with the SA yesterday, he actually says we don't need to...

Australia Model 3 - Delivery waiting room

I just posted this in the other thread, but I guess it's relevant here: Just received the text for delivery, choices are 14 or 15. Of course I chose the earliest. I ordered the vanilla one (RWD, white/black, aero). OD 11/11/21 Delivery scheduled 14/2/22 Alexandria NSW

Model 3 or wait for Model Y and other questions

It's probably a good business decision. Sedan is cheaper to make (just my guess). People will still buy regardless of their preference (Tesla still can't make enough of them). If one really need the liftback, buy the more expensive model.

Model 3 or wait for Model Y and other questions

I think comparing Model Y with the SUV characterised in the above post is not really fair. Like @Chuq, @paulp and a few others here, myself included, we want a car with a hatchback/wagon style opening to enable easy load/unload of oversized items, to bring the pets, etc. I have a Mercedes...

    Tesla Model Y in Australia

Agree. I wonder how the 0-60 km/h compared to the previous motor. There are only limited places we can do 0-100 (e.g., accellerate from stop on a motorway), but plenty of opportunities to utilise 0-60. I gave up and ordered the base Model 3 yesterday. It's not ideal for my need, but I really...

Model 3 or wait for Model Y and other questions

I agree with the previous post (i.e., don't buy what you can't afford). I had fully paid a Model 3 SR+ and was about to take delivery in April 2020. However, due to changes in my circumstances at the beginning of the pandemic, I canceled my order and got my money back 100%. What other car...

    Tesla Model Y in Australia

I think Tesla is facing the challenge in Europe in that they need to have SUV model out to satisfy the demand that would otherwise go to competitors. Many buyers would probably prefer the Y but in its absence may get the ID4, EQA/C, iX, XC40, EV6 or other EV SUV/crossover brands available there...

FSD v9.0 in Australia is just a con isn't it?

Monthly subscription payments will not be prorated. After your cancellation is processed, you will continue to have FSD capability...

    Tesla - P License - NSW

I think Tesla needs to work with the authority to get this resolved. Soon there will be many Tesla-only households with teenagers need to learn to drive. Tesla can even make L and P modes to comply with the rules for the new drivers, maybe even with additional safety measures. I don't think this...

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

I checked the list in this Transport for NSW site. SR+ is also banned. The only Tesla that is probably allowed is the 2014 S60 (the site says to contact RMS for this model). Even if chill mode technically satisfy the low-performance requirement, putting P plates on a banned vehicle is likely to...

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

This is my first post.. hi everyone. I have a reservation but have not placed the order yet. I have a daughter who has another year or so on her P plate. I trust her and want her to be able to drive the Model 3 when required. Unfortunately, all current Tesla models are banned for P1/P2 in NSW...
