Tesla Showroom in Parramatta

I noticed a new Tesla showroom in Parramatta as I was driving up Church St this week.

It is located next door to the Audi showroom

There are a few HPWC on the side wall of the building

Tesla Parramatta

Think it's a temporary site only (site was previously a showroom for the upcoming development of that site).

But they are rumoured to be adding a permanent sales and service centre in the area.

I've been there, it does seem temporary. Quite a small site, too.
I kind of miss the luxury of the St Leonards store, sitting in air conditioning having a sparkling water while charging. Ah, those were the days...

Alerted by a FB post, appears Tesla have moved recently in Parramatta.

From 55 Church St to 45 Church St.
Basically just the other side of the Audi dealership and into what from Google was last a Skoda dealership.

Looks to have a small Service Centre out back

One of the things Tesla does differently.
No marketing, no big spend on facilities. All the other Australian showrooms are pretty bare bones

And partially this is why Tesla's gross margin is much higher than any other manufacturer.

It's basically a glorified test drive pickup location.

All I hope they learn is how to open the service centre out back.

North and south are covered, would be good to have something a bit closer to the west than Alexandria.

Totally agree we need service centre in the west / southwest. The Tesla population here is getting bigger.
Last week I visited an open house inspection and two other Model 3 owners were looking at the same house.

the wife made the special mention of why is there no cars in the showroom

a real missed opportunity to have a range on display

Tesla decided to allocate the M3s to customers in Q2 instead of keeping them in the showroom. It was the right call.
