    If that's the case lets go PM. That kind of sabotaging their customers cars is not very Elon-like. Instead they can build business model around upgrades. Even DIY upgrades since the rest of the car seems to be as easy as Lego. I estimate I use 10 minutes on the complete dash now.

    Early Model S MCU Removal- Helpful tips not in the Shop Manual

    Putting the dash all back together is really done in 5 minutes when you know how its done. The clips gets better at releasing the dash parts as well. Be sure to have some high quality unglossy black paint as this is a great opportubity to reduce the amount of chrome parts in the dash.
