    Multi-Unit condo charging update

Thanks RandyS I went ahead and emailed SDG&E again using the new address To satisfy the HOA $100/month fee, I would have to travel 45 to 85 miles a day (on peak/offpeak respectively) every day for 1 month I guess that is a lot but eVgo would charge about the same in California so I see no...

    Multi-Unit condo charging update

I also emailed EverCharge and Southern California Edison as they provide a complete MUD monitoring package but they are obviously a for profit company so it would seem a standard 110v/240v outlet would best benefit the tenant as you would be paying the going kwh rate and is easier to maintain etc

Charging infrastructure within condo buildings + HOA affects?

So far I have emailed EverCharge and Southern California Edison as they provide a complete MUD monitoring package but they are obviously a for profit company so it would seem a standard 110v/240v outlet would best benefit the tenant as you would be only paying the going kwh rate

    Charging options in condo complex

EverCharge looks cool at first, but they are selling a service and require a profit and is succeptible to going out of business. A simple 110v/220v standard plug outlet might be best. I'm contacting SDG&E now to see if it's possible to install an EV TOU meter. This way, the tenant is only paying...

    Multi-Unit condo charging update

Thanks for the help with the previous question regarding engaging my SoCal Condo association to impliment a charging infrastructure This is a brief clip of what the HOA manager said: We are looking at four 16amp outlets. Anything above 20 would require us to change out the infrastructure in...

Charging infrastructure within condo buildings + HOA affects?

Thanks, I was able to get the HOA to install 110/220v via 4 16amp breakers but have not incorporated individual metering method. They are trying to find a solution to that. I'm not sure how the electrical companies install EV TOU meters or if there are third parties that will provide the...

Charging infrastructure within condo buildings + HOA affects?

Great, thanks for the responses. I thought I was the only one who wanted a plug in a parking space of a high rise condo. It is uncharted territory but I think as more poeple start driving e-cars that new building code will start to require a different standard for metering and power outlets...
