Wouldn't the front and back wheels have different weights because they are staggered? I thought the back wheels were wider than the front on the PerformanceModel Y.

Got it installed today. The holes didn't actually line up perfectly so it took a little finessing to get the bolts in. But I did get it on and aligned to wear it needs to be. I'm having same issue with my MY I just got. The games Cuphead, Stardew Valley, and Fallout are "waiting for update" with no way to force a download. Been leaving the car on Wifi in the garage and still nothing. Car says it's on v10.2 (2020.39.102) with no update available.

It's funny this thread is called "Tesla coercing software updates!?!" because when users refuse to update their cars they are effectively "corercing" Tesla to keep supporting old legacy code and infrastructure that may otherwise be depreciated and also takes away software engineer's time to work...

Is it just the 21" wheels that are causing the loss in range for the performance model? It's quite a jump from 315 to 280 just because of wheels.

Hopefully we don't get a bunch of people crashing their Teslas trying to do doughnuts in dynomode… Otherwise Tesla will probably need to change the code to access the feature. o_O

Definitely Performance without because you can always add that on later with an in-app purchase but you can't make it a Performance model later on.

My Model Y Performance order got automatically updated to have 21’’ Überturbine Wheels at no extra cost. If I'd prefer the Gemini wheels for the extra range would it make sense to just keep the 21s and sell them online to offset the cost of just buying the Gemini wheels from Tesla and swap?

What if you can't keep it plugged in for some reason. How long can you "saftely" leave a Tesla parked without being plugged in? Just wondering how long you could feasibly do it safely without being plugged in.
