My car has PPF and DL had no issue with noting it on the policy. I don't think they will cover the cost of replacing it but its there.

When did you order? I have the same spec but ordered in early March.

As above, DL have noted PPF and Tints for my car. I checked with them at renewal time so they did bump up my premium but then lowered it when i told them i got lower prices elsewhere. What they did do was bump up my excess from 850 to 1000!

Is that for a touch up/paint or just a one stage polish to get rid of the scratch? It sounds like a scratch that has gone into the clear coat, rather than paint.

Yup I collected my car June 2019 and still have 3200 miles left in my loot box. In fact my last supercharge was last week. Regardless of T&Cs I think they are a bit more relaxed about the limit. Having said that I do have a confirmed referral from January although hasn’t been delivered yet?

Anybody just had the sides Front and back tinted and got any pics? I’m not too bothered about the rear roof tinted plus saves any hassle it if ends up cracking or potentially causes issues with the heating element. Plus it’s mostly tinted anyway.

Interestingly I currently have a Model S loaner while my M3P is getting a repair to sort out water in the lower boot well. The Model S lights also mist up after a long drive in this weather.

Yes I have gone for entire 18” rims as the tyres were cheaper and readily available. I have Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 winter tyres (as I might take the car to Europe at some point in the future). They are excellent although could have gone for CrossClimates like many others.

I’ve used WetCoat on my PPF (front half of car) and it has been absolutely fine and beads really well, just make sure you don’t use too much and give it a good blast with the hose.

Still wave or flash the lights if I see another M3 and have gotten a few waves from others. Did have a lot of people/teens pointing on streets etc as have had the car since late June and it was pretty rare.
