Same here and that is why I did purchase belt clips right away. It is OK with that adjustment now. Should be lower, I did not have this problem in many other cars I owned.

Tesla's3 Belt height adjuster is installed TOO high for short people. Elon designed it for himself. lol :-)

Flap material is not suitable for painting, very soon it will develop cracks. Sellers are satisfying demand. In my opinion black ones look better on white cars.

There is NO drilling "into the car". Just one hole in well cover. And I used 6 mil clip instead of screw.
