My opinion is that silver colour better shows the rims and that's why I chose silver. I had the gray turbines on my MC Red P85+ but I never really liked that combination. In fact I would choose light coloured wheels for all the Model S colours. Maybe I'm not enough "badass" ?

It's a Norwegian registered car. And it is a P85D. (I checked the car register.) Probably low SOC. The owner is: Tesla Motors Norway !

After reading similar threads to this 18 months ago when I was waiting for my P85, I got scared and bought a "back-up" car. A Mazda Miata. My P85 have performed flawlessly, but the back-up car has died twice. Reason: Dead 12 V battery !

Comfortably numb, Pink Floyd. That's how I feel in my Model S.

For me it took 4-5 weeks for the change (added dual charger) to show up in my configuration

and now the prices in Norway are more in line with the rest of the world, about 8-10% increase today.

For those of you that have taken delivery of the P85D, is the turning radius the same as the P85?

I have been happy with my MC Red, but a need for change did that I ordered my P85D in black. I am goong to wrap it, probably in black metallic color.

I am very satisfied with the turning radius on my P85+, since I came from a FWD car. I have some tight parking places to negotiate and I am a bit concerned about the turning radius on the AWD Model S. Do you think it necessarily will be larger?

I have a P85+ but have ordered a P85D. Apart from the insane performance and autopilot, the better seats and a more quiet cabit were the decisive factors for me. And, besides, as you have already pointed out, we only live once :smile:

Of course it is. I ordered mine in October and will supposedly get mine soon, since I ordered in piano black. And by the way, I really like the piano black finish. I didn't find any of the alternatives very appealing, even if I could have ordered the carbon fiber at the same cost as I have a P...

The same happened to me after the 5.9 upgrade. I was 180 Km away from home when I got the " car needs service" message. Tesla told me that it was a cooling pump that needed repair. I drove home and got it fixed the next day.

There were some reports of someone, with the keyfob in tight jeanspockets, accidentally opening all the windows and next morning found the Model S full of snow. That's why this change was very welcome in Norway.

Nice results. And if you hadn't woken the car with the iPhone app the results would have been even better.

I agree completely. I am a much calmer driver after i got my Model S.

According to a Tesla representative in Norway the 12V battery problems have been adressed in the latest FW 5.6. The 12V battery is now always charged from the main battery. Can anyone confirm this? Or prove it wrong?

Our second home. It has greatly improved our quality of life. And now I can also enjoy the sight of a beautiful Model S in the driveway, charging from my 400V 3-phase :)

I have made a habit of placing my left palm against that area when I enter the car. That should prevent abnormal wear.

I love that my Model S welcomes me every morning by reaching out the door handles and starting to play my favorite music.

It seems that the 12V battery problems occur very early in ownership. Any idea why?

Why would anybody mess up the interior of the car to film the road ? Sorry, I don´t get this.

The "invoice" is just the invoice for the down payment of 5´. You get that "invoice" when you finalize.

I have a trickle charger that I use for my motorbike to keep the 12V battery fully charged all the time. Could this be a tempory solution to the Model S 12V problems, until they have found a permanently solution?

Normally Red is a colour used on small cars. And I have been somewhat hesitant to a red Tesla S. However today I saw this car. It was an absolutely beautiful colour. Anybody seen this Red Merc? If the Multicoat-Red is anything like this I will be more than satisfied.

WOW. I clearly made the right choice going for the grey wheels. And no, blind spot sensors are not an option. Personally I would rather have ACC, but I guess we can´t have it all.....yet !
