Hate to break it you guys but many, many new cars do not come with a spare tire. It is an option you can add, or sometimes you can get 12v compressor kit.

Got it here in nevada. The traffic cone visualizations are pretty cool. Its picking up the barrels as well

If they resprayed the entire side, so at least the texture matches from front to back, I would leave it alone. It still does the job of protecting the rocker panel from chips, whatever the texture.

Most of these products are under the base and clear. I think the texture has a lot to do with air pressure in the spray gun, and application technique as well as the actual brand. Sanding it wont make small bumps into large ones, it will flatten the "top" of the bump, and then there are...

Looks like they resprayed the chip guard during the repair. Aftermarket spray on chip guards are very hard to get the texture to match original. It often has a more "pebble" texture. You can have them redo it, but it may never be exactly the same. Another option is to have both side resprayed so...

Man, I thought the buying experience in Vegas couldn't have been smoother. Picked up mine 9/16, on a 30 day tag. Tesla emailed me the paper work a week later, and I registered online. Got the plates in the mail yesterday.

Is the lamp on the very bottom of the door trim panel (puddle lamp) working? If that is unplugged, the window never stays down. Maybe it wiggled loose.

A friend removed his and gave it to me. Since I am not a fan of carbon fiber, I painted it body color. Still on the fence about how it looks, what do you think?

On ICE cars the pad has plastic clips that are designed to melt from an engine fire and pad will smother the fire. Not sure what this one will do....

The pillar skin, and the fender are both steel. The rubbing is causing the e-coat to rub off leaving bare steel. As long as there is any gap at all it should be fine.

If its touching, use a 10mm socket and long extension to loosen the bolt at the top of the fender jamb (with the door open) and pull the fender out by the edge at the top. Retighten the bolt. Might make the fender slightly over flush to the door, but it will stop the rubbing.

Small point of correction here. This rub spot is not the "frame." The frame of these vehicles is aluminum and is under the floor. This is the steel skin of the uniside and it is fixable, but a proper paint repair would need the fender and door removed for access. Touch up paint probably wont...

Picked up last night. 9 days from "custom" order to delivery! Great experience, and the car is perfect.

It's my understanding that the parts requiring a certified shop are all structural. I was told "mom and pop" shops couple order bolted on parts, but for anything welded, glued or riveted, the shop had to be certified. I'm surprised you ran into this for a fender....

The plug for the main bumper harness is under the passenger side headlamp. Remove the clips for the liner and pull it to the side and look. It will be hard to get to, but if its unplugged you'll see it hanging.
