you just enter through the rear hatch. It has a power lift gate, so you can just double click the trunk on the key to open it up.

This is the ultimate collectors Model S in my opinion. I have what I believe is the only Tesla Model S P90+, and if not likely the only one with 7 seats. The only way to get the P90+ was of course to have a P85+ whose battery was replaced under warranty with a 90kw after they stopped making...

worth noting... the permit expires in about 23 days. there were some recent doc uploads on it about 2 weeks ago but the docs are the same as the september doc uploads... which is odd

a non update, kind of... but I combed through all the docs etc. on the permit again and no updates there

thanks for sharing th video! that is CRAZZZY. I charge there all the time and hadn't heard. Sad to see business we frequent burned completely to the ground.

In the meantime get a Chademo Adapter! it cuts your time in burns from 4-5 hours to about an hour

on the permit it passed a new inspection and failed one it looks like yesterday... looks like it is going to be re-inspected monday.

In Oregon I recommend getting a chademo adapter. Oregon has great chademo coverage and at least on my old model s can still charge at about 160mph. Has saved me many times already.

tested yesterday, plugged-in but no juice. Giant mountain of dirt blocking half the stalls, no updates on the permit. Sorry no pix.

Drove by... Absolutely no signs of construction... Pending construction or anything. Zero signs of even where they will put it.

Tons of activity on the permit. Guessing this is under construction now, possibly even nearing completion. Problem is nobody is ever driving through to check...

My only recommendation is to get a chademo adapter an charge in Huntington, OR instead. For me it was out of the way by about 12 miles I think, but worth it for the faster charge. If you are on I84 anyways then you'll be golden.

Having just done Twin to Boise I can say that it takes way more than "125 miles" of stated range. The speed limit between the two is high and if you are having to run AC like we did the whole time I think it was like 200 miles of actual range the trip used up on us.

Went by last night, no change. still yellow -taped, needing cement around the base of the charger stalls and the stops/bumpers still need installed. Might add a photo later tonight.

Movie Theatre parking lot... I'd rather be able to enjoy the town (Hood River's is nice) than be uber-convenient to the freeway. The movie theatre is right downtown. And Hood River is super small anyways (almost nowhere isn't right off the freeway)... esp downtown.

I know this is an old thread, but fyi... not having the hub centric rings toasted my rotors according to Tesla. So make sure you have them. They are really tough to get fit right though

there was a new inspection report added Monday to the building permit... appears identical to the previous one however, so not sure how significant it is. btw @MarcoRP @Chuq given the images earlier in the thread, should this one show as under construction on supercharge?

I got an upgrade to LTE and there is no sim card, if so telsa would provide install it since you pay them for the premium connectivity if you don't have it for free. LTE works great for me btw.

Drove by today and there was a large construction crew working. It was so torn up it looked worse than the last photo

Checked it out today and tried plugging in. Still no juice. Appears complete to the untrained eye. Still some construction cones though. Confirmed again it is 250kw though. Also tried Kelso but that was under major construction (digging, lots of workers and trucks, installing pedestals etc.)

its not in the same part of the parking lot at all so I don't see any reason why it would replace those

absolutely. I've experienced this. Had to stay overnight in Burns with a really sick kid and couldn't get out because of a lack of charging options. With hills, cold, etc. it can take 6 hours + to charge there with the current charging infrastructure because a full charge can sometime get you...

I think it's worth a its own thread too actually. You have to remember this connects a large part of two states that were previously unavailable basically to EVs. Burns getting a Chademo is bigger news imho than 2 or 3 new superchargers combined in any other part of the state. Any other...

can't agree more. I've also charged in the dalles and didn't have a problem, but it was during the day. I have seen destination chargers ICE'd in hotels where there were no other parking spots available. But I can't say I wouldn't have done the same and I don't think it was malicious as much as...

I think ICEing in general is waaaaay overblown. I've personally never had to deal with it in any state I've charged in. I think a few stories on electrek have created fear of an epidemic that doesn't actually exist.

I see this often at places that also have a Tesla showroom (usually the destination chargers are for showroom use only). Washington Square Mall in Lake Oswego Oregon is one example of that, but I have seen others as well.

I've been to the current Tesla non-supercharger station there... and they might actually be able to fit 8 spots in that parking lot. That being said... 99% of days 2 stalls would suffice. but that parking lot is pretty empty so I'm sure they can fit at least 4 in given the size.

the current tesla charger there is super old, only one of its kind I've seen (not a wall or supercharger, some one-off thing Tesla did years ago). It is about 10% faster than a normal wall charger, gets about 40mph with a dual charger. Perhaps someone is putting a Chademo back there too? if so...
