How could you tell that the radar turned back on?

Since Tesla autopilot is vision only, there's a strong incentive for Tesla to implement this technology so the headlights can be always on for better vision. Tesla has already demonstrated matrix headlights at their Berlin gigafactory.

Is it possible to ask the Tesla service center to do the installation?

Here is a review of the Made in China model Y headlights from Norway. Interesting that they are matrix headlights, but Tesla has not yet implemented the adaptive features, even for Europe.

The current model Y does not come with a water closet yet. Maybe once they remove the steering wheel and the pedals there will be space for one 😀

What determines how soon I get the upgrade? Is there any trick to get the upgrade faster come up without the sideloading?

I was wrong. The setting was under Driving Settings, It enabled changing the level of regenerative braking from Standard to Low. Newer Tesla vehicles do not have the ability to change the level of regenerative braking.

Correct. From a first principles view it is impossible for a vision only system to match the performance of radar in a situation where the car in front of the car in front of you suddenly hits the brakes. Vision cannot see around the car in front. Radar can.

I don't use autopilot. I appreciate the forward collision warning, when the car in front of the car in front suddenly breaks. Only radar can do that. The camera and my eyes don't see the car. Radar does.

That's very good news. Hopefully Tesla can refit the radar once it becomes more easily available. I don't care about full self driving. I want the best forward collision warning possible and radar definitely beats vision in that respect.

If it's only a $400 part that can easily be a retrofitted, should Tesla not be able to make it work with camera only.

Maybe not. I just found out that the latest model Ys no longer have the passenger seat lumbar support control. If you're way too long you may no longer get a steering wheel lol

There are several 200xxx VINs in the spreadsheet now. Let's hope!
