I'm finding the same thing. The car seems to be going into a deeper sleep when left unattended for longer periods of time. I don't know whether this is to reduce phantom drain...
Same problem with the new Tesla app and M3. As a retired ICT professional, the issue is clearly with Tesla. It looks like they might have changed the app's method of access so that it now connects and logs into a website. Hence the 404s when the app can't initially find the web page.
The whole...
This is not Tesla's fault - at least not directly. The car needs to be able to recognise the phone through Bluetooth. If that Bluetooth connection is lost then the car will lock. This could be a consequence of the phone doing an update or going into a sleep mode which disrupts the Bluetooth...
Oh wow! That's a lot less than I thought I'd seen it.
I've actually made up my own very long schuko/16A Commando lead complete with an optional L-N polarity reversal insert. I hope never to need it but France, for some reason, has chosen to install loads of 3.5/7kW (and occasionally 21kW) AC...
Hmm. I looked at that option - there's plenty on the internet on how to install it - but decided against it. I'm not a sparkie but I do have an electrical engineering background and I think the extra cost of installing a basic Type 2 charge point is unimportant compared with the extra safety it...
I'm losing about 3 miles per day. That corresponds to around a 30W consumption in order to keep essential systems going. When your consider that corresponds to a (very) low-power PC, that's pretty reasonable.
I don't understand your question. Who says what?
I've seen lots of anecdotal evidence of installing seals around doors and the roof glass, and videos of damping panels but no real analysis. But if you have seen some, please say so.
I have been surprised and a little frustrated that there has been so little proper analysis of noise levels inside the cabin of Tesla Model 3s (and, of course, S and X) and how to manage them. I’ve seen plenty of ad-hoc solutions - extra door seals, application of damping materials - but no...
While I don't have personalised number plates I do agree that the fixing looks cheap and unbefitting what is supposed to be a luxury car. My guess is that the clip-in system is designed for speed of insertion of the plates given how many M3s they were shifting out of the Heathrow Tesla centre...
