Tezz.la was a godsend when I was trying to find mine. The guy at the dealership here had already told us that orders were going to take 6-8 weeks, so I watched the existing inventory dwindle for 2 days on tezz.la and then snapped one up.

This was all successfully resolved with very little effort on my part, super happy with how Eric and Anthony at the Plano store dealt with this frustrating issue. I only waited an extra 28 hours or so for my brand new blue LR AWD Model 3!

During my research phase of this process, I found that most reviewers who owned or drove both preferred the Model 3. The general consensus that I found was additional range + new MCU + DM AWD + nimble handling were the difference makers. YMMV...

Most local garages/etc. can do it. I don't remember if they had my last car on a lift but I don't recall it being necessary. Should cost a very nominal fee since there's no emissions inspection.

Just posting to echo previous posters - 50 miles is standard for new Teslas on their paperwork. Think it's to cover any driving they have to do during the shipping and delivery processes.
