I installed a receiver hitch behind the rear bumper cover of my MS. Super clean installation. Cannot tell it is there until you slide in the 90° mount. Love it.

I installed a 2" receiver hitch on my MS. Sure it involved removing the rear bumper cover for installation. Sure it was kind of expensive. But once it is installed you can't tell it is there until you slide in the 90° angle mount and then the hitch mounted bike rack.

So you are using the OEM amp with your HDS2.1 sub?

I stand corrected on the impedance. After wiring in parallel are you happy with the result? Isn't the wattage really high for the OEM amp?

The more I look into upgrading my OEM UHFS subwoofer (part number 1004833-03-A) the most I think it isn't possible to do so without upgrading the amp as well. I haven't found any aftermarket speaker/subwoofer manufacturer that makes a subwoofer that conforms directly with the OEM Tesla UHFS...

I understand the parallel wiring to get a dual 2-OHM speaker to 1-OHM. It is trying to power a 150 watt RMS subwoofer with an amp that puts out 80 watts. Seems problematic.

Did you ever look into upgrading your OEM UHFS subwoofer without adding an amp? ...or did you just add another amp to the OEM subwoofer system. Which did you do? I really don't want to give up storage space in my lower trunk space for an additional amp. Rockford Fosgate make a dual 2 OHM 150...

Okay, the OEM sub is rated at 1 OHM and the OEM amp puts out 560 watts but 80 watts to the sub. How did you get the SoundQubed HDS2.108 sub to work if it is rated RMS at 600 watts and is a dual 4 OHM speaker. It seems as if this sub wouldn't match up very well or at all.

Does anyone have an opinion on the Rockford Fosgate P2D2-8 P2 8" Subwoofer 2 Ohm Dual Voice Coil as a replacement for the OEM UHFS subwoofer? I don't want to change my 560 watt OEM amp (80 watts to the sub).

Could you provide the model number of the Soundqubed woofer. I emailed them about their products and their response made it sound like they really didn't want to talk to me about Tesla applications.

I don't understand. How can the LH speakers be a direct swap if the standard system utilizes a 6" speaker and the UHFS system utilizes an 8" speaker?

This has probably been covered before but are the Light Harmonic speakers a direct replacement for the front UHFS speakers? No mounting bracket modification? No amp upgrade needed? If so, I would be interested in splitting the set.
