How to remove flip top lid? (phone storage)

I just did this yesterday to remove the door since it's blocking my new Pixel 6 Pro from charging properly. 20 minutes start to finish. Thanks for linking to the video!

Speed Limit corrections - no luck so far

I've found speed limits to be very frustrating in my 2.5 hardware M3. The stretch of road I drive most (have to drive it 10-15 minutes either direction no matter where I'm going) has added phantom 45mph sections over the 2.5 years I've owned the vehicle. These aren't temporary for construction...

    Credit Card Errors

Sure enough, the card details show this morning, and I was able to pay. It's frustrating that Tesla's payment system is setup so that a failure on their part treats their customers like deadbeats instead of just suspending payment attempts while their servers are down.

    Credit Card Errors

While bad for us, it's good to know it's not me. I was driving all day and didn't see the news about Tesla's issues until reading your replies. I guess I'll keep checking to see if my credit card issue takes care of itself.

    Credit Card Errors

Last week I knew I'd be traveling this week, and I logged in to update my credit card expiration date. Since I couldn't update the card, I deleted the current payment method and re-added the card with the new expiration date. I thought everything went well until today I received a warning after...

How to send feedback to Tesla

[email protected]: Thank you for contacting Tesla. This email address is no longer monitored. I guess they don't really want to hear from customers.

    Auto Speed Change in Autopilot

I'm not sure everyone's getting what you're saying, but I came here wondering the same thing. I'll reach a speed change that Tesla knows about because it's displayed right there in the car. The autopilot will sometimes slow down in reaction to that speed change; but in my limited experience more...

    90mph AutoPilot on a 45mph road (pics)

Another issue, and possibly what you're experiencing, is that it will store limits for known roads and continue to apply them to unknown limit roads. For example, leaving home I go from 25 (unknown) > 35 (unknown) > 55 (known). In the unknown cases, there's no gray circle, and the TACC will...

Autopilot - Adjust Max Speed Before Engaging

Keith I'm having the same issue with roads where the speed limit isn't known. When I start my day, those unknown roads will have no "gray circle" and engaging TACC adopts the current speed just like my car did before I ordered AP. On the way home, however, it stores the last known speed limit...

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

I have to take this back. When I zoom in on my mapped parking lot, it's showing me Google's parking aisles instead of OSM. I know this because the geometry is slightly different in OSM than Google. I don't have FSD so can't check how it looks with summon.

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

There must be a 3rd server at play in there somewhere. The street I edited hasn't existed for years and is correct in Google. However, every time I route that direction, Tesla tells me to use that non-existent segment. The speed limit data is harder to track since it's relatively new in Google...

Tesla Owners Can Edit Maps to Improve Summon Routes

Here's my OSM experience: I added parking aisles and "gardens" to a parking lot. The next time I was able to drive to that lot was about 3 days later, and when I zoomed in the parking aisles (but not gardens) were visible. Conversely, I updated a road that doesn't exist as well as adding several...

Tesla added your Model S to my account!

Tonight I received an email stating that "my" Model S had been removed from the account. I received a second email asking me to pay the outstanding charge fees. I would imagine these are both auto generated based on an employee hitting the remove button, but I wish they'd have thought to remove...

No dashcam video clips being stored on properly formatted Samsung flash drive

I thought all Model 3's had at least 2.5. In any event, my trouble was using the passenger side USB. The passenger side works to charge my phone, but it doesn't recognize the USB drive. I plugged it in the driver's side USB, and the dash cam icon appeared in a few seconds. I'll drive it tomorrow...

No dashcam video clips being stored on properly formatted Samsung flash drive

I purchased a Samsung MUF-256AB/AM FIT Plus 256GB - 300MB/s USB 3.1 Flash Drive. I used guiformat to format it as FAT32 and created the TeslaCam folder as shown in the picture. I inserted it into the right USB port and have what I assume is the camera icon in the upper right corner. It turns red...

Tesla added your Model S to my account!

Now I'm getting emails saying I need to pay for the supercharging fees the person driving the Model S is incurring. I'm hoping Monday morning when the support team starts reviewing emails again that someone sees this isn't my car and removes it from the account.

Tesla added your Model S to my account!

Well, they were driving it around yesterday. I can't imagine the owner would park it with 8 miles and not charge it. I wonder if it's someone renting it on Turo or something like that.

Tesla added your Model S to my account!

I thought about trying it to see how far it would get from CA to GA :-) It wouldn't get too far, though, as my app notified me it's almost out of battery. Sitting at 8 miles left.

Tesla added your Model S to my account!

Clicking that button tells me I have to factory reset the vehicle to remove it from my account. Since It's not my vehicle, I can't do that. I did what I could, which was to report it to customer service.

Tesla added your Model S to my account!

Hello, Model 3 newbie here. I filled out the transfer of ownership form on tesla.com last night. Today, I received two emails: one adding my Model 3, and another adding someone else's Model S! I was very surprised they gave me access to a completely different vehicle with a VIN that wasn't close...
