Canadian vs. American model Y... why the range difference?

I don't know if this has been settled yet (Model Y LR coming with LFP battery or not). The other thing to look at is the 0-100km times since the LFP batteries don't deliver the punch. It seems the currently listed version has slowed down at 5.0 seconds vs. the used cars listed on the Tesla...

Winter Tires - Continental VikingContact 7

I have these and am finding they are not great in the deep slushy snow we had the last couple of days. Doesn't take much of an incline for the car to really struggle for traction and I did get stuck once in a parking lot. They just don't seem to grab like a good sticky Blizzak.

    Gaps In DashCam Video

Another note, it seems that we're reliant on the one minute cuts to get a capture. Tonight I saw a fox crossing the road just as I pulled up to my destination. I parked, hit the download button and pulled the stick when it finished. It didn't save the little bit. The 10 minutes before was on...

    windows accidentally open

it's the heel of my hand putting pressure on the buttons when I hold the inside door handle. So weird that it's only me. That button in the app is how I closed the windows this morning when I looked outside and saw one open ;)

winter tire mounted on 18 inch aero wheels or aftermarket wheel? What is more common and better?

I put snows on the ugly aero wheels and will pick up something nicer when it's time to mount the summers. Check out Toto Tire locally, they did a nice job.

    windows accidentally open

A number of times over the last few months I've returned to the car to find a window or two partially open. It's happening when I open/close the driver door. My hand just seems to accidentally press a window button for a moment. I swear I'm just holding the door by the grab handle normally...

    Roadside Assistance - First Experience

yup, it was hearbreaking, day 2. And then it happened again. It's just plain stupid design to have the wheel protrude more than the rubber. Just about every model 3 I've looked at since has the damage. My solution is to use those wheels for winter tires and buy something normal in the spring...

Problems with new Tesla in the Snow

Indeed the first few days of winter have greeted me with all the same issues, which brought me to the forums to see what others were experiencing. I think you forgot about the windows freezing so they don't lower on door opening and then smash against the seal when you close it :) For the...
