My A2Z one cost about the same as the tesla one, so that wasn't a big deal, but I really had wanted the tesla one. Either way, i'm keeping what I have because no point in spending another $250 lol

So bummed I didn't have more patience to wait for the official one. lol

Tested it this weekend at an Electrify America station. All worked fine but didn't charge higher than 47kw. Good experience and will report once I test it at a few more locations.

I just felt better about ordering from an actual company that seemed to answer to emails, etc than a random china one but i can't imagine they are any worse. once i test mine out this weekend i will post back. Mainly just wanted it for Fl Turnpike backup

I got my A2Z adapter over a week ago but been out of town, just opened it yesterday and will try to test it this weekend. looks solid, heavy and nicely built. can't wait to try it out

It wouldn't have been hard to get chinese knock offs of the a2z adapter as it is made in china. But i don't disagree with you which is why i went with the a2z and cancelled my tesplus order. I would rather wait it out and see if some of the knock offs are no problem.

in their defense it does say third party adapter on the description. I am hoping i'm in the second batch of a2z but i just ordered this week so who knows. also in no rush as i don't have anything planned trip wise that i would need or might want to try it until late September.

question, since you have tested it, does the a2z adapter fit in the harumio case?

Exactly, I had a feeling it wasn't but the pictures show otherwise. I also didn't know that tesplus and hanshow were the same which explains why the pics were the same.

Interested as well as if it is not OEM vie whatever route thye manage, I also want to cancel and think will be going with the a2z for now. ETA: I went ahead and emailed to cancel my order. I also noticed that they already charged me for it. Typically things don't get charged until they ship...

absolutely profit. If you are locked to their chargers, they profit. once you can venture out, they dont make money.

The reason i wondered along with you all is because is you go to both the tesplus and the hanshow website, they have the same exact photos. so it leads me to believe that they are going to be copies not actual anything. which is to be expected but the photos have an actual tesla box probably...

I think if they were just temporarily out of stock there woudn't be mass refunds. I think this route is done at this point and my only regret was waiting so long to order.

ok thanks for the response. I just thought it would be a quick thing too. I have to pick up the car today or at least expected and I will ask again every time i ask i get told to wait for a notification. its very frustrating at this point i have figured out, dealing with tesla service lol

how long did it take everyone here from the time they ordered the hitch to the time SC got it and you had it installed. Im going on almost 2 months now i think and not a peep.

As I reported over on the Florida thread, picked up car today. Thing was flawless and lord knows i looked at everything. So far, haven't found it. I'll admit the cleaning job was spotty but hey, i can wash myself. had 6 miles on the odometer. enjoying so far
