Have the white clips come detached from the door? They should remain in the metal and only the black 'pin' portion should come off with the panel. If the white part's come away you can release it using a small-bladed screwdriver to pry apart the top where it clips over the black centre section...

There's a door-release cable in the rear doors - it's not connected to anything and just flaps around. They do stick some foam over the inner core to stop that rattling, but the other end that's connected to the door catch vibrates. I've fixed both rear doors on my car by removing the door...

My loaner from Leeds SC last week was a black Model 3. It too was locked in Chill Mode and looked like it had been cannibalised for parts - there were window switches and various bits of trim missing. The new Leeds supercharges (which are V3 apparently :) ) open on August 1st.

There are 6 new Ionity chargers on the M1 south of Leeds. 3 of them pop up an error when you press 'Start', and one other failed to communicate with the car. They've only been in a few weeks but not a great start. Not that I'll be going there once they start charging 69p per KWh !

I noticed this on my app a few days ago - alarmingly it says "You have all of the eligible upgrades". First thing I did was check the credit card account! My M3 is leased and it used to show FSD and the acceleration boost as available options. It lists Autopilot under "purchased" but not sure...

I suppose another possibility is that they've recently switched to different hardware that now supports channels above 11 in countries where that's allowed. My M3 was delivered in November 2019.

This comment didn't ring true to me so I tried shifting the AP that covers my model 3 to channel 13 and it works just fine. WiFi chipsets are likely to be global, with software determining what channels they're allowed to use based on location. In my case the car will happily connect to channel...

API = "Application Program Interface" - in this case it's a method of sending commands/settings to the car via a web service operated by Tesla.

I have an ohme charger that starts/stops according to the varying price and that uses the API to wake the car - it's been 100% reliable since it was installed.

You could use TeslaFi to schedule a wake-up, or if you don't mind messing with some simple coding you can call the Tesla API to achieve the same thing.

I bought mine from SmartHomeCharge and they did a nice tidy job on the install.

Nothing preventing it from sleeping; TeslaFi confirms it sleeps and only wakes when the ohme commands the car via the API.

I have an ohme charger linked to Octopus Agile and it works great on my M3; it always wakes (sometimes several times a night if the cheapest half hours are separated) and I've never had a problem with it not pulling the full 32A

After one of the recent updates my passenger side was forever giving the camera obscured error. Leeds SC had a look and it turned out to be a plastic film covering the B-Pillar that hadn't been removed prior to delivery. Since then it's been much better, if not quite 100%

When I had mine in the Leeds SC last week they messaged a few days prior to say they'd need it for more than a day and to advise them if I needed a loaner.

SMETS2 in the South of the country still uses mobile cellular (Telefonica - O2), the North runs on a separate network operated by Arquiva.

@VanillaAir_UK Maybe try re-calibrating the windows? In cold weather they retract a few mm after closing (seems to happen below 5-ish degrees); maybe this retraction is slightly out of spec and triggering the 'window=open' threshold.

In addition to what @VanillaAir_UK said, there's also the fact that TeslaFi can't control the power from the control unit, so as soon as you plug in the charging cable the car will begin to charge, regardless of what charging schedules you configure in TeslaFi.

I have the Ohme unit and it works very well (touch wood!). I've had no problems with the charge current deviating from 32A and it's never failed to charge on schedule. The App uses your Tesla login details so I assume it's using API to wake the car before it applies the power.

Back from the Leeds SC and I now have a working glovebox light :) In my case it was the lid switch that hadn't been connected.

My car is currently in Leeds SC and a non-functioning glovebox light was on my list. Just got a message that it's ready to collect so I'll know soon if it's fixed. Like you, I had a light in there but it never lit.

Depends where in the country you are - there are 2 networks; Telefonica (O2) run the southern areas over their cellular network, and northern areas are on a purpose-built network operated by Arquiva.

I should have mentioned that I did look at the Y Connector - all was ok. The car's in Leeds SC at the moment and it's on the list of things for them to look at.

Mine's the opposite - only the passenger side seems to work and the driver's side is dry.

And the fact it was downhill :)
