Here is some quick math. 110 x 22 (week) = 2200 + (my guess for weekend) another 500 miles = 2700 miles divided by 300 w/mile - 9 kilowatts. $200 / 9 = 22.2 cents per kilowatt. Now that is also assuming no loss but efficiency is at best 90% from wall to car so that makes rate closer to 20 cents.

Not true that changing lanes cancels autosteer. If you use the turn signal to change lanes it will stay engaged.

Yep I have the same complaint. In my case I do it when I have passengers as the airflow to the rear is so poor. I used to set airflow to be only vents and then close two or three of them to get more airflow to the back of the car while leaving all the rest of the functions on auto mode.

Slightly true. That is a public parking lot and you can park yourself. They state the spots are for guests only but I am not sure if and or how they can enforce that. But since you need to be there for some time to charge you might as well get something to eat and drink.

There is a destination charger in the DoubleTree parking lot that you can use. Not a SC but you should be able to charge there. I don't think it is a 100 amp charger tho. Also if you head thru Rockford you should be able to do the the trip. I have traveled to and from Chicago area from here...

Not an update but a comment. My guess is that the timeline is totally dependent upon the utlity( in this case Mid-American) to deliver the transformer. I doubt Tesla has any input on that.
