    Child Car Seat

Tesla recommends the Britax Romer Kidfix 2R for the Model 3 for age 4-12. Currently the Kidfix 2S is on sale on Amazon and I was wondering if that would work fine. It's nearly the same but 4cm wider in the wings at the top because of an extra side impact safety feature. Anyone know if this will...

Losing power when parked [sentry mode is on]

I've been on a road trip, and finding my Model 3 (2019) losing about 10-15km per day just parked. I looked for anything I left plugged in to 12V or USB slots. Disconnected everything, only thing remaining is sentry mode. Back at home I maybe lose 1km in a day, never 10-15km. Any ideas what I...

Display jpg, gif or png on screen

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm interested to try My Google Maps next time, but didn't have the time for it this trip. Blue-Tack is looking very likely. Also sent a bunch of jpg maps to my phone so I can look at them there (trying to solve amongst other things for loss of connectivity)...

Display jpg, gif or png on screen

Does anyone know if you can download jpg or gif or png (or even Word for that matter) onto USB and display it on the Tesla screen? The reason I ask is, on a road trip, I like to have maps that I have annotated myself in addition to the GPS. My usual method is to print out a map and draw on it...

    Full beam annoyance

Thank you! I switched off auto-beams. That did the trick! So simple when you know how!

    Full beam annoyance

I'm in Switzerland, driving down an insanely windy road at night. Push the lever down which seems to set it to auto-full beam which I imagine switches on full beam when you need it. But nooooo!! There was no full beam, couldn't see where I was going, couldn't find how to manually override it ...

    Headlights in France

    Thanks! That's encouraging!

    Headlights in France

I'm travelling to France from England soon. In older cars there was a kit you could get on the headlights to set them up for France driving. My Mercedes just had a simple setting on the dash menu that set everything up correctly for Europe continent driving. Anybody know how the Tesla M3P...

    M3P winter tyre package

I finally did the swap for winter tyres yesterday ready for road trip. It was a breeze in the end! Bola 18" FLC wheels with Bridgestone tyres. Ordered from LK Performance. There was a moment in the process where we weren't sure about and extra ring supplied. So I contacted LL Performance and...

    Low Profile Hyrdaulic Jack

Thank you everyone! Couldn't find exact match on Amazon but I ended up with Sealey Low Entry Jack, and it's super fantastic compared to the small scissor jacks I'm used to. Makes changing wheels soooooo much easier!

    Low Profile Hyrdaulic Jack

Link isn't working for me, but is it this one?

    Low Profile Hyrdaulic Jack

My winter wheels/tyres arrived today. Now I need to change them over! I have ordered the Adapter Pads for the M3P. However I saw on a YouTube that it's important that the disks on the jack are bigger than the jack pad adapter. Trying to order a low profile hydraulic jack (or electric jack) on...

    M3P winter tyre package

I was also looking at Bola 18" from LK Performance, but somebody told me that downsizing the wheel size could affect battery performance. Have you heard that? or experienced it, or is everything OK?

    M3P in Switzerland

Thanks! Any idea what size those are? Is it the 18" for the M3P?

    M3P in Switzerland

Around 5 deg daytime, maybe -1 deg C at night. Not intending to be up in the Alps. Just round the lake. But still, that is typical temperature and could get colder of course.

    M3P in Switzerland

Hi, I just got a M3P in UK in December, and happily driving winter here. I'm planning a trip to lake Lucerne in February and a little concerned if the performance tyres will be ok. Mostly it'll be Autobahn in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, but coming off the highway onto to ordinary (steep)...

    M3P winter tyre package

@Tatoo1 I'm also looking for winter tyres for M3P. Did you reduce from 20" to 18" for those? What tyres did you get, I can see they're Michelin but don't see the serial number. Also presumably you have to replace entire rims, not just tyres, is that right?
