    Tesla Software updates - Australia

And the release notes may say you have it, but you might need to wait a day for it to show up in the menu (assuming you have premium connectivity)!

It’s showed up now. Must have been a server setting….

It was unexpected - but I don't sync with Teslascope currently so there should be a few more of us out there...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Just received 2022.36.1 (quite a big catchup release) and noted that Remote Sentry viewing is an option now (in Model 3) but could not find option under Safety to turn it on (I do have Premium Connectivity) - Anyone got this working yet?

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Even just adding partners that can be accessed via keyword in voice is sufficient if that's all the AppStore is released as. e.g. keyword "OK Google" so you can say "Ok Google - Broadcast - About to arrive home, can someone help with the groceries". But agree it will be like Apple CarPlay and...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Downloading 2022.16.3 now and wondered if the rumoured AppStore was anywhere closer to live. Search brought this up but is this new (can't log into it with my credentials)? mobile.tesla.com/appstore Not sure what else it could be for and the fact I'm not authorised is interesting. Would be nice...

    Model 3 hire - SIXT

Just wondering, do they give you full access to the model 3 and not valet mode? Hoping to use autopilot (not FSD I assume) on roadtrip down great Ocean road (more for the boring drive to the start of great Ocean road). Would be good to use my current Tesla account also as the key.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

My notes on holiday update: Biggest UX improvement is not hitting seat heaters accidentally - though hard to realise if you've left the seat heaters on till you feel it. Split button (for dual heating controls) is a little hard to hit Adjusting the fan kind of sucks too as it's too jumpy (if...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Telstra also recently support SMS over WiFi - so maybe that's still kinda right (even my Pixel bugs out with WiFi Calling/SMS sometimes on Telstra)? Same observations for not waking up - at home on WiFi, doesn't connect unless I lock/unlock the car.

Model 3 Sr+ Door Closing Question

My rear right door is like this. Takes a little more force than the other doors to close successfully each time. Thought about raising as a defect but a tiny bit more force and it's fine, and it doesn't seem to be a mechanical concern upon inspection. Annoying though...

    FSD Price Rise Soon

FYI - AUD Price is up for FSD for new cars $10,100...Now just need to wait to see what they announce to justify the price rise - Maybe parking in car spaces without cars needing to be next to you ;-)

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

Personally I think the subject should change to us just being excited, waiting for the next release to come out and hoping for things like: a) FSD would autopark my car in parking spots without adjacent cars b) The entertainment system gets heaps better and reliable - comparable to...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

After map update, and I still have a main road in Tassie (Channel Highway) which is 60km/h in both directions but K.I.T.T. says 110km/h in one direction and 40km/h in the other! I just keep reporting bugs about the speed limit and even updated www.openstreetbrowser.org as heard that might have...

    Model 3 - Android Auto

Maybe the plan is Netflix or Caraoke and the car drives you completely, so audio isn't really necessary - but Video never really killed (off) the radio star and never will IMO!

    Model 3 - Android Auto

<rant>Tesla is one of the best cars out there for many reasons including the constant upgrades, so makes sense by introducing wireless Android Auto/CarPlay would be the way of getting even more frequent updates (from Google/Apple), and ensuring compatibility with future phones to make us owners...

Any way to change the phone ringtone?

I'm a fairly recent owner of a Model 3, and my wife can't believe how alarming the ringtone is and why we can get harder backgammon, but no ability to soften or change the ring tone! Maybe the team in charge of games can lend a sound developer to the Phone Interface team and get this fixed once...

Frunk hooks for Model 3 are apparently no longer a thing...

Well I think I know why they try not use frunk hooks anymore and maybe why they are so expensive - Mine arrived today, first one went on fine, but the other had a small plastic piece break off and no longer holds in place...Hopefully they replace for free...So word of warning - these are...

Wailing wall for Australian Model 3 team VINLess!

Frunk hooks for Model 3 are apparently no longer a thing...

I just purchased some frunk hooks which have been shipped today, but was a little shocked at the price markup in Australia. Luckily I was ordering something else so shipping at least didn't come into play. In short, each hook cost AUD$15.45! Part numbers for reference are: ASY-M3-RBN...

Looks like the Tassie 1st Quarter Teslas have landed on the island. Scheduled pickup for myself is late next week!

Seems it's invoice week - I received my invoice today (though for late April delivery allegedly but at least it's good to be contacted by Tesla with some news...).

Wailing wall for Australian Model 3 team VINLess!

My turn to have been contacted by Telsa (in Melbourne) with the update that VIN is assigned for my order and delivery is (worse case) end of April...Guessing they must wait for the whole quarter of Tassie Tesla's to arrive before they send them down.

Wailing wall for Australian Model 3 team VINLess!

Thanks @Vedaprime - Your information is great to pass the time waiting for Tesla to get in touch with you - FYI - Because Tesla decided that all your personal information should be there in clear text in the page source even though not required - I've chosen the manual mechanism of checking...

Wailing wall for Australian Model 3 team VINLess!

So I've got a relatively new order (December 4th) of the most basic of SR+ versions, but for delivery to Tasmania - Everything will allegedly be delivered in February which does make sense given small market and incoming shipments though suspect a delay getting it to Hobart (and 1 Sydney rep...
