most people selling reservations are near-term deliveries and often at grandfathered pricing.

Kinda funny you say that because technically the reservation is a better deal most of the time. You get it cheaper AND you're the first owner. You're paying a markup on a used car vs. a discount on a new one (albeit with a slight wait).

The other person takes over the account, and changes the email, password, personal info, etc. They can change to their delivery location and input their own registration info. It's the only way to do it, Tesla doesn't officially support res transfers.

FYI found source of frunk issue. There is a liner piece on bottom of hood, which has tabs that pop into holes on each end. One was out, and it was causing frunk to not close evenly.
