This is interesting and i suspect behind the charging at 16amps rather than 32, i.e if some maths is one binary digit out then the value is halved in decimal...someone got their maths wrong in a bit of code.

Maybe we should all start tweeting Elon. After all an electric car that isn’t charging properly is a fundamental issue that needs to be fixed pdq. Can’t be hard to do a code diff between last release and this one to see what’s been changed that will affect the charging rates. Then fix and new...

Folks i’m not overly concerned since i’ve only have my M3P for 6 weeks and 400 miles since lockdown, but wanted to see what others display on range. When charged to ‘daily range’ @ 90% it shows as 280 miles. I only charged once to 100% for the one long trip i’ve done and it showed 310miles...

300k in an Elise is hugely impressive, both the car and you! I traded in my S1 135 Sport against the Esprit. I then went to a 997 C2S, but it was never a patch on the Esprit to drive nor as an event. Now being an all electric household, i keep looking at S1’s to have as something for fun.

Gtechniq crystal serum pro is the Daddy. Had it on 3 cars now and yes it isn’t cheap, but worth every penny - great protection from birds and tree sap, etc.

Just moved my new M3P (had 2 weeks) and it was 27 degrees inside, but a/c was set to 19. Compressor kicked in and when i got out of the car it was still running - and surprisingly loud. A low / mid range loud buzzing sound. Is it normal to be quite loud and buzzing? Thanks in advance

Should just be able to call them and make the change. They’ll likely charge you a fee for the change, but shouldn’t be more than £40. If you did it less than 14 days ago, remember you’re stilling the ‘cooling off’ period anyway.

Still no text or email, but the very helpful chap at MK Tesla shop confirmed my car is on the Glovis Captain (he showed me their internal system and all info was on his screen). Said I should hear shortly
