How do you postpone an update, other than by daily changing the planned update time?

    Battery discharging after 2020.20.13 update

Got 2020.20.17 yesterday, which seems a bug fix to my previous 2020.20.1 The car sleeps like a baby now, and very quickly after waking up, falls in sleep again. Fingers crossed...

    Battery discharging after 2020.20.13 update

I have had exactly the same problem and solution, on 2020.20.1. They have now sent me the re-install twice, because the 'fix' only works for a couple of days, max one week. Very strange, but true...

    Battery discharging after 2020.20.13 update

If you have an iphone: install the Tesla widget. This will show ‘sleeping’ or ‘check the app’ when the car is asleep, without waking up the car. Don’t know if this works the same on Android

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

I have spoken to Tesla service center. They sent me the same firmware again. I re-installed and my car is sleeping again. I assume this will last for a couple of days, like last time. In the mean time, remote service is checking my problem and the service center said that there’s a big update...

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

Hello again. After a couple of days with good sleep since the re-install of 2020.20.1 the no-sleep problem has returned. So, that is not a solution either, although it helped for some time (strangely). Shouldn’t we open a new thread, because this one is named ‘solved’?

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

Couple of idea’s: 1. Set your energy indicator to mile/km. This way you will see the drain in smaller steps than 1% 2. After the firmware re-install, my mX still sleeps as expected. I have found however, that it takes much longer with the normal alarm (not the Sentry mode) switched on. In...

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

Yesterday contacted Tesla techdesk again. They re-sent me the software update (2020.20.1). After reinstalling, power loss dropped quickly and sleep mode started after a while. This night, no power loss at all! So, unless they found the issue and didn’t want to tell me, re-installing the same...

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

In the mean time: is it possible to use the power switch off function at night? Or won’t this work?

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

In the mean time, I have switched off wifi, unplugged USB stick, switched off alarm, no Sentry, even used low power usage setting. But: no sleep and still draining 4-5% per 24 hours. I will contact Tesla again on Monday (EU time)

Model X Performance - is this wh/m normal

Oops, you got me there. So, mine is 400 Wh/mile then. Not so ludicrous anymore...

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

Maybe this helps you then: I am not a Teslafi user, and have never used it. So, that does not seem to be related.

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

Thanks. I already rebooted, and even tried a full power off that was advised by a Tesla employee. But no luck so far... I’ll try again, although that seems odd

Model X Performance - is this wh/m normal

My average is 250 with 22 inch wheels and a normal 100D from 2017, in the Summer. 450 seems ludicrous to me :-)

Phantom drain & sleep - Solved in 2020.12.11.1

Well, I am having the same issue with 2020.20.1 that was installed a few days ago. Draining 5% in 24 hours, car not sleeping anymore, and looking for a solution...

iphone 11 bluetooth microfone connection bad

Have been to Tesla service. They tested it, and said it works fine. For an iPhone X, that is. So, it seems to be an iPhone 11 issue. Nothing more to do than wait for update...

What to check when buying a used Tesla

Thanks for your helpful replies. I had the car checked by Tesla (new service, costs 200 euro), and they found several issues. Most of these were solved by Tesla and free of charge under the standard guarantee. So, if you buy a used Tesla, I advise to do the same!

iphone 11 bluetooth microfone connection bad

I have been a Model X owner for a month now, and love it. The only issue I cannot get solved, is that when using my iphone 11 on the bluetooth connection, reception is fine, but people hear me very badly. It apparently sounds hollow and very weak. Who’s got the fix?
