Good to see the Glovis Captain coming back around! My M3P arrived aboard her in March, I’ve been away from the forum since.... nothing has changed I’ve missed tracking ships, watching weather, Tesla is still driving everyone mad, it’s good to be back!

OK, I have a resolution. This afternoon Tesla sent me another collection appointment for today, even though I’ve had the car for almost a week. Whether this lasts for another 4 days or longer time will tell, that’s a question I’ve asked Tesla. At least I’ve got control back.

Have you had an text saying your car is still available in March? If so, call them, they’ll give you the reg so you can insure and target either Monday or Tuesday. If you haven’t had the text, you’ll get very little from Tesla staff until they have shifted all the March cars.

They told me Heathrow or Newcastle? Nearest to your postcode. I got my text and spoke with them today, looks like collection is on Monday from either Heathrow or Southampton. 3 sleeps to go.....

Interesting that one service that has been kept open is “garage services” yet there is no mention of being permitted to go to and from a garage... I have to get my car (not Tesla) from the garage tomorrow. What’s the point of having garages open if you can’t go to and from them?

For those in the south, it seems that Tesla is arranging some collections from the port. If only I could get through to Tesla Heathrow to tell them I live near Southampton and will gladly save them the job of transporting my car!

I understand all those reconsidering. Fortunately my car missed Glovis Captain, so I have time to try to sell my Jag now. I’ve kept my RN and VIN as its qualified for OLEV, if we are still in such a mess in June and I can’t sell I’ll probably walk away and revisit later.

Al long as they look after mine for the next few months until they get around to shipping it☹️, I’m happy.
