The only benefit over a traditional heads-up display is to other drivers/pedestrians.... a HUD would be better.

Hmmm while driving today I got an alert "cabin climate control system requires service"!!! A/C is still working, including passenger and rear vents. Could it be related to the mystery plug? Could it be related to the coil cleaner I sprayed on the evaporator?

In researching this on other threads, the speaker you disconnect under the glove box is the "emergency speaker". It connects directly to the MCU and provides audio beeps (and other noises), if the normal audio system is not working or turned off. It's not a normally used speaker.

Following up (over a year later) for the archives. I just put the Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring on my 2020 MY LR. So far really like them.... about 100 miles in. Seems quieter than factory Continental Extreme Contact RX. Wh/Mile seems a bit better too.

Finding 14 good ones may not be luck. The service/delivery center fixes them before the customer notices it and/or it goes to the parking lot. That's really the way it should be done. Some service centers may be better than others.

The rear A/C vents are not turned on if someone is not in the seats. I find the car much more comfortable (TX 100 F) if I manually turn on the rear vents.

RE: Wireless charging. It talks about something must be plugged in. I guess if you use wireless charging you lose the driver-side USB port.
