Initially I agreed with you — but then, Bend is a tourist town. Every day, summer & winter, tons of visitors here for 3-4 days are heading up Cascades Lakes Hwy and returning to their hotels. Given that, it's not an illogical location at all.

John Day would be great, and either Prineville or Mitchell so those of us along the 97 (Bend, Madras) could hit the central Oregon attractions that aren't as far as John Day (like Painted Hills). The only problem being the installers would be shot on sight in Prineville. 😂

So bizarre that they leave it wide open and accessible, with no sign or tape or anything, almost as if they're trying to trick people into attempting a charge.

I have a persistent buzz/rattle in my dash: anytime the road is less smooth than a billiard table, it's constant. It comes from the red striped area. I can stop it easily by either pushing down on that area, or by pulling up where the red X is (I could probably jam a cork in there and stop it.)...

How do you get it to be active all the time? Mine turns itself off each time I use the car. All I'm doing is clicking the little circle at the top right to turn it into Hal. Is there a step I'm missing?

Maybe I'm not understanding the function correctly — but if you have to hit the little Sentry Mode button every time you want to use it, then why are there the options to exclude locations like Home and Work? Just don't hit the button if you don't want to record there.
