Wow. I ran into this on multiple (android) devices, all of which previously worked fine, all of which suddenly got stuck with the "unable to connect to mytesla" error. Each device needed the app to be uninstalled and reinstalled for it to work again on that device. Strange, but it worked.

Whatever is keeping the iphone app working must be iphone specific. The android app seems to have stopped working about the same time that the server stopped talking to my scripts. I also just had the 5.9 upgrade, so I'd assumed that was the culprit until seeing this thread.

They really ought to just give you the choice. Then you could select between "intuitive" or "original" flavor of sun roof/cruise control. Make "intuitive" the default and then eventually they could just drop the "original" option from newer models due to lack of interest. Just like the 40kWh...

That's sounds like a great plan, assuming you can convince Tesla to 1) sell the parts separately, and 2) turn on the software for options that they didn't install.

Their specs page describes "Hand wrapped microfiber and synthetic leather interior surfaces". The options page mentions "Nappa leather seats...". The "Extensive leather throughout" part is just vague enough for them to change their mind about what surfaces it...

This all sounds like impetus for another diy tesla upgrade project -- upgrade the two default usb ports with two or more high powered usb ports and integrated (well, hidden at least) usb flash storage. Bonus points for keeping the lit-up port appearance with additional ports.

Yep, cable hanger included in the box. Perhaps I got lucky on the timing and ended up with the mythical 80A variant after all. Now I just have to wait for delivery of the car that goes with it.
