The charging pads seem to be a problem for a lot of owners, myself included. My small iphone 8 charges fine, my wifes behemoth 11 does not. My apple airpods will charge for a second and then stop.

This happened to me on 2020.10.5.8 or whatever was before. I tried everything. Finally, powered off and let the car go to sleep. Woke up 30 minutes later with the app. AC started working. Before the app was generating an error.

I did the two button reset and nothing. I did a factory reset and nothing. Service said it was the compressor and needed to be brought in. I powered down and waited 30 minutes and it started working. hope to never see that again!

I’m in Florida and the sun is bright and the cabin heats up. I think a darker tint would save AC. The roof is already tinted. Is there any issue with adding tint?

If you use teslafi it displays a very detailed charging summary. It might not help answer your question but it does give you a data set.

I got 183wh/mi once, in a 4 mile trip that was net downhill with my wife and two young children in the car. Otherwise I’m lucky to get under 300.

That’s what most people are on according to teslafi. But they only have 44 model Ya registered. And interestingly one of them running newer software is located in Sweden. But we are still far behind the other Tesla vehicles in terms of software version.

That’s unfortunate. I’m also using eero and the model Y is connecting without issues. Sorry I cant be of help but maybe it’s useful to know that mine is functioning on eero. I’m on 2020.5.10.3 updated 3/28. Whatever I was in before also connected to WiFi.
