Yes, by stretching that tire to fit the wider wheel, it makes these wheels even more susceptible to curb rash due to less vertical sidewall protection.

Yeah, it makes a big difference when changing wheels/tires and you want the tire pressure monitoring to work and not have a tire pressure error staring you in the face.

I'm with you, jpfive. I'm ready to take delivery of my model Y, but willing to wait until the end of December in hopes that I can get a 2021 model for the reasons you mention.

I think only the early model Ys had the guide holes for the badges. The current production units don't have the holes underneath the badges.

It hasn’t been something that they have done in the past, so I wouldn’t expect any special offers this time around either.
