I liked the white dash in my M3P over the wood as well. But I’d prefer the walnut over the CF in my LR S. I do think carbon fiber is good when it’s functional - I just don’t think it looks good aesthetically. That’s an unpopular opinion here though haha

Am I the only one who isn’t a fan of the carbon fiber trim? It seems like everyone absolutely loves it. I feel like carbon fiber was cool in the 90’s, but feels outdated for 2021. I guess it doesn’t help that I associate CF with the cheap trim covers you can buy from Ali-Express.

What did you use as temporary protection? I’d like to do something similar until I can get PPF done.

Tesla does not accept credit cards as payment. You’ll have to use a 3rd party or do a cash advance. Both come with fees.

Do you get 2,000 super charger miles using your own? Or 1,000? Using someone else’s gets you 1,000 and the other person also gets 1,000.

Are they shipping with the front license plate mount installed? My model 3 performance came with the mount in the trunk - not already on. Can it be removed without damaging the paint/bumper?

I just bought mine this month so I’m sure I’ll be frustrated in a few months when my expected October delivery date comes and goes.

Good to know about the glass. I’ll wait to see how much quieter it is before ordering because I feel it’ll be pretty expensive and then I’ll have to get them re-tinted with ceramic again as well.

Could you post a tutorial on how you did the auto-dim mirrors? Do they work properly? Where did you get the parts from? I want to do this to my car :)

My July build doesn't have auto-dimming side mirrors. I'm assuming that the harness to attach the dimming feature is also missing so it's a lost cause. Crazy that they removed them for a few months and then brought them back. If I bought mine 2 months later I would have them.
