Heathland and desert sand? Now I'm curious. Yes I've been looking closely for any signs of scratches - none spotted yet though I'm no expert. I may stop using it once we're (hopefully) out & about a bit more normally, but I've been grateful for the protection in the meantime.

I went for the BougeRV, see thread below. It's not anything special but does seem to keep the car much cooler and seems to be fine with charging. All the others I've seen in UK aren't very well tailored to the car (if at all) and I definitely wouldn't use while charging. Model 3 cover available...

I ordered one of these several days ago and (similarly post-quarantine) have just put it on. Won't bother with photos as @DaddyCool 's are clearer than anything my driveway would allow. I'd been the lookout for one that at least claimed to be charging-compatible and this seems to fit the bill...

Has anyone identified / can anyone recommend a Model 3 car cover, ideally waterproof, that is usable while charging? The official Tesla one isn't available in the UK, as far as I can see on the store. Thanks v much

Just to echo some above that reliable interim fix for me has been to unlock and re-lock the car. This has always woken it up and allowed other controls. Haven't driven since issue started so will see if that fixes it.

Great thread. Does anyone have a recommendation for a car cover that's compatible with charging and available in the UK? The official site doesn't seem to include the one available in the US, for some reason.
