California HOV Sticker Photos.....Show your placement

We only wanted to put on 1 smaller sticker and this is the placement. Haven't been pulled over in over a year of use. If we have to put another one on in the future I'm definitely putting on paint protection film under the sticker prior to placement. When I tried to take off my Prius HOV...

    Best App?

All good choices. But if you stick with the Buick's dead dinosaur smell, get an Elon air freshener. I hear it smells Musky! All right, NO more Elon references!

    Best App?

Thanks dmurphy! Nobody at Tesla could relay that information. I went through all the processes you described and it was that elusive little "grant access button" that needed clicking. It's not working quite yet, but I'll try deleting the app and re-installing the app on both our phones. It...

    Best App?

Will Stats allow you to control two M3's on different accounts? My wife and I made the mistake of putting our two cars under different email accounts. We thought that we could pull up each others car on our Tesla app, but haven't figured out a way yet to get it configured.

What did you name your car?

Ferdinand P. - Yes, my dream car was the 911 growing up, and I soon realized that I couldn't afford the repair bills for a Porsche. Sooo glad I am part of the Tesla family now! My wife's M3's name is Trey.... Classic

    Sunshade for Windshield

LOVE to see that all of these Prius owners are coming out of the woodwork! :) Getting a Tesla is a natural progression for all of the hybrid owners out there. We got rid of our 2005 Prius and got a 2016 Prius which we still have. And...We used HeatShield sunshades on both of those as well! :p

    Sunshade for Windshield

We've had 1 of these in both our M3's and love them. Perfect fit and they roll up quickly. My sons have the folding types of sunshades and we find that to be more of a hassle. link below Windshield Sun Shades, Car Window Shades and Car Window Covers by HeatShield: The Original Windshield Sun...

Paint Protection Film (PPF) & Ceramic Coating

I would recommend the front paint protection (clear bra) on the M3. My wife has had her M3 for about 18 months and after 26K miles of freeway driving, there are some pitting and chips on that flat front nose. I just got my M3 in December and put on a partial paint protection (bumper and...

How does every clean their model 3? Is Automatic car wash a bad idea?

So BlueKam, Wennfred, and Cultgti, you just spray, let it sit, rinse and dry? No sponge use at all? It seems like there may be some residual road grime, no?

    After Market installers

On the issue of brake dust. Just got my Model 3 DM a few months ago. I noticed a noise coming from the back right wheel that sounded like a light high pitch scraping. Very faint but thought it could be a concern so I took it to get serviced (along with a couple rattles and door gap issues)...

How does every clean their model 3? Is Automatic car wash a bad idea?

I still hand wash with Meguiers carnuba wash/wax. Old school, I know. But it does a pretty decent job. Follow it up with the Meguiers Ultimate Quick Detailer spray and you have showroom quality look. Regular H2O out of the hose with no filtration and we have fairly hard water so it's...
