Updated to 2022.8.2 with the beta module battery, so far so good. No error after putting some miles with the update. Still no word back from Ohmmu on how the module actually works or if it will also require updates over time.

I also read the opposite and the T5 was too slow. I had to do a full reformat from my PC (not a quick reformat). Once I did that and added the folder, it’s back to loading Sentry clips just as quick as it did before the update.

I wish it stayed during driving on the M3P, I have “cruise” and “sport” profiles to change driving dynamics on the fly.

Absolutely - definitely my plan to keep the thread updated. So far Ohmuu has been responsive with their support.

Me, and I just bought my battery at the end of the year on 12/29/21. 2018 M3P updated to 2021.44.30 night before then started throwing the error. Hard reset procedure is super straight forward, but still showing the “replace battery” MIL even after doing it. Working with Ohmuu support on it.

Yup that’s the hard-reset procedure I used. The car didn’t start showing the error until it finished updating to 2021.44.30 .

Count me in… 2018 Model 3 Performance, just bought a V2 battery and installed it on 12/30/21. Worked great until I updated to 2021.44.30 last night. Been getting the error message all day today even after doing a hard reset.

Tesla has told people that version 2020.20.x is supposed to fix Sentry mode bugs preventing it from working. I’m still on 2020.16.2.1 and Sentry mode in my M3P won’t record, flash the lights, or show the Sentry screen. Anyone have Sentry issues before that 2020.20.x has fixed?
