Tesla model 3 slides on sloppy roads in parked position in London snow?

I'm not a Tesla fanboy by any means, but i'm not sure you can pin this on Tesla. Any car could have 'slid' down a snowy, slippery sloping drive. May as well blame Michelin for their tyres? Indeed you were fortunate that it didn't get out to the road, though.

Did you buy FSD (Full Self-Driving)?

Hi, Yes, was initially £3900, so was a £500 premium, but not any longer it seems.

Did you buy FSD (Full Self-Driving)?

Bought EAP when it was available for a couple of weeks in Sept (the one and only time available for M3 in UK) Gives me virtually all the features that FSD currently has (stopping at lights and signs is all that's missing). Plus gives me a 50% stake in FSD at current UK price so can upgrade if...

Wiki [UK] Holiday update - 2020.48.26/.30/.35.x

Definitely a bug fix, let’s hope it sorts out the ability to read traffic lights up. (Not that I even have FSD, it just irritates me that it no longer does something it once did well,)

    Summon

The upgrade from EAP to FSD has been reduced to £3400 (was £3900) so cost exactly half the price of FSD: Not too bad value at present in UK as has all of the features except ability to stop at traffic lights and stop signs. I mainly got it for the ability to auto change lanes, but nice to know...

Wiki [UK] Holiday update - 2020.48.26/.30/.35.x

Anybody having issues with detecting traffic lights since the .26 update? Mine looks like it isn’t using the wide angle camera anymore and so cannot detect the colour of nearby traffic lights (i.e most of them), like when the traffic light detection was first introduced earlier in year.

    New model 21

Me too, saw one out in the wild yesterday in an outside car park (I am probably all over the dashcam footage!). The dechrome on white looks reeaaally nice! I think i'd spec the 19" wheels and have them refinished gloss black too. Fit and finish appeared good too, except the rear number plate...

    Enhanced Autopilot (EAP)

So they will diverge when the FSD re-write is release, then in time become the same again? You're probably right.

Motorways to trial 60mph limits to cut pollution

I'd compromise at 65mph, I'd be fine with that.

    [UK] 2020.28.x

Do you have FSD? Ours is non FSD and still on 2020.24.6.9

Can I progress an old order for a model 3 SR+ (at a reduced price £37,980)

I'd say, what harm could it do, unless you'd prefer a different spec now.

Holiday rentals - Do you ask if it’s ok to charge?

I do ask usually out of courtesy, and will work out the energy taken at 15p/kwh and give them some cash for it, its never more than about £20 a week and is the decent thing to do. Lots of people disagree with me though, but they're wrong.

    FSD Price increase in UK

Perhaps it would more honest to give it the more aspirational title of 'Future Self Driving'

    FSD Price increase in UK

Sounds like someone might have pulled the trigger last minute and is now worried they may have to pay £1k more. Its just a light-hearted comment. (That someone could just as easily have been me)

    Autopilot speed limit changes

Mine is non FSD too, obvs with the nightmare we are currently living through, I haven't used it a lot, but it definitely adjusts speed on motorway intersections, say where you are moving from M25 to another motorway, the speed always reduces automatically in my limited experience. The worrying...

    Autopilot speed limit changes

Haha nice try! but i'm not totaly sure that is worth £5.8k soon to be £6.8k to avoid double tapping after changing lanes. Though I am now worried I am going to wear a shiny patch on top of the gear selector I'm doing it that often. Now you going to tell me Tesla charge £7k for a replacement...

    Autopilot speed limit changes

Having to re-enable it after changing lane is a bit ridiculous, even my Nissan Leaf had this covered.

    Model 3 Washer Jets

Mine works same as yours, never seems to squirt enough washer fluid for my liking. Not sure if a fault or a feature.

    Free premium Connectivity ending

Just subscribed and everything came back. I had to log back into Spotify with the Telsa account, but Tune-In Radio not working yet. I use that for podcasts so it better had start working. JJ

    Autopilot Lane Changes

Hi, First post here, had my gorgeous blue SR+ exactly a month. I have made one longish journey to support a vulnerable person, and noticed in my first motorway journey that the AP has to be reapplied after every lane change. (and it doesn't always want to) I am a particularly nervous motorway...
