Given current ev production constraints, the EV rebate will just cause higher prices. If Tesla gets the additional 4.5k union rebate, you can count on the prices going up even more. I am not sure it is worth it as a consumer.

My guess is there will need to be some hardware upgrades to get to FSD. The price increase is meant to recoup some of those upgrade costs.

If they were smart they would place monitors to make sure Tesla's guidelines were being followed. I think everyone would agree with that.
