There are clips on the back that attach to the wheel. Based on their location, I don't think they would fit the wheels you're referring to.

That would make sense, when I picked up the car, the wheels seemed to be very flush with the body.

Is there a way to confirm that? The article makes it sound like any Tesla built after Sep 2019 should have external speakers. Teslas will play elevator music for pedestrians through external speakers
